Kodiak Cocktail Bar & Music Lounge

Had taken a 30minute drive up to historic Concord in hopes of a having a one of a kind experience at this cocktail bar- the reviews seemed outstanding! Initially I had wanted to book for our anniversary, but at the time nothing was available so we opted to book a table a few days later. Despite the construction, we arrived within a few minutes of the reservation to find a solo bartender who was sociable but seemed distracted. After a few minutes of locating ingredients for the drink order &getting side tracked with conversation, I wasn't sure if he had also enjoyed some beverages before we had arrived? Am not one to be concerned with bartenders enjoying some drinks during their shift, but when more patrons arrived it appeared to get more challenging. I didn't mention the reservations at the time, I couldn't imagine that Kodiak was prepared to serve any food that evening. Despite best efforts, it took some time to get the check with only 6 people in the place. Would've loved to hear some music& tried their food, but it didn't seem like the time.

Cool place in Downtown Concord, serving up craft cocktails! I was there for a private party, so we were in the room next door and came into the main bar for our drinks!

I didn’t think to leave a review until now. I’ve been here once with some friends and had an awesome experience. I don’t know much about spirits except generally the flavors that I like. I picked a whiskey that I wanted to try and told the bartender that I like rum as well. He chose some pairings that hit the ball out of the park. The experience felt authentic to me. I can only compare it to trying wine in Italy, where I realized there is such a thing as good wine. This is a great place to try new things. The bartender was super cool, and everyone has a great time. If you like rum, I recommend the cachaca.

Wife made reservations for ANNIVERSARY dinner and was even sent a reminder about reservations at 7:00 PM on 4/17/2024. CLOSED!!!! Horrible first impression and will never go again. Before you tell me it is a 3rd party that takes reservations, if you are closed down tell the company that takes reservations.

Amazing cocktails. I had the "crime & a slap on the wrist" as well as the "sage lavender gimlet". Perfect flavors. If youre into having a great time in a awesome atmosphere and delicious drinks, this is the spot! Cheers to the owner!
