The music at this bar was fantastic, and the venue itself is beautiful. However, the service left much to be desired. Waiting over an hour and a half for just one glass of white wine and a water without a straw is simply unacceptable. The staff seemed more preoccupied with chatting with other patrons, leaving me waiting an additional 30 minutes for my check. I wouldn't consider returning until they address their staffing issues. The only saving grace was the talented singer. Hopefully, they'll improve their service in the future.

This is a hidden GEM in Downtown Concord to experience real live jazz performances while enjoying a cocktail with friends. The atmosphere is very prohibition bar and the line up of shows brings musicians from NYC and all over the country. This place is sure to influence the Concord culture.

Patrons and I waited at the bar for 30 mins and received no service. There was syrup left burning on the burner unattended and the entire bar filled with smoke. Another patron had to take pot of the burner to prevent a fire. Once the bartender came out I was still not served. I've been here many times and this by far a stark contrast from the service I've received in the past and that I expect as a patron. Although, I've been here many times. I will never return. Nor will my friends.

Made plans to walk in a couple days in advance, but unfortunately didn’t get to give Kodiak a try when we came out during Google listed business hours (Right at 6pm on a Wednesday) We were confused the door was locked but saw someone inside so we decided to walk around the block thinking maybe they were just opening a few minutes late. At 6:15pm we came back yet the still locked, no signs. Figured maybe we didn’t know how to get in the right way? But gave up and went somewhere else. Later decided to check their actual website to see if hours were different or if they were temporarily closed but didn’t see anything. Finally ran across an instagram post that was posted right around the time we stopped by saying they were closed for the day. It would have just been nice to have a sign on the door or some sort of communication or some sort on google or the website since not the entire world runs on Instagram 24/7.

We arrived at 7:00 pm and the band was scheduled to start playing at 8:00 pm. The place was EMPTY! We asked about the band and the bartender informed us they didn't not have any event that night. We let him know that we purchased tickets, received a confirmation email, and even one stating See you tomorrow. After letting us know that they were having issues and it sounded like something their company would do, we decided to stay and at least have a drink. We each ordered a drink that was on the menu but he was unable to make either one of them since they did not have the ingredients available. Our experience here was less than great and do not ever plan on going back.
