Came up to try Lake Todd Saturday 2/21/26 and have to say it was worth our 40 minute drive. I had the catfish and green shrimp and both were fresh and cooked right! Husband had the flounder and green shrimp and he too was happy. Plenty of food for a good reasonable price. Not crazy about the fries, but it seems to be the kind a lot of places are using but everything else was delicious, especially that red slaw. Out of the way, classic fish camp. Concrete block building with open seating. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Seemed to be a lot of regular customers. Everything is prepared in-house and is excellent. Homemade tartar and cocktail sauces, ranch dressing, slaw... Everything was amazing. Most of the menu can also be gluten free! Get the GF fried pickles!
I love that they offer a gluten-free fish fry. I’m not celiac, yet I’ve never had any reaction here, which gives me real comfort. This tiny, no-nonsense spot has turned into our go-to place for simply great fried dishes. The flavors are honest, the food hits the spot every time, and it always feels like a relaxed, familiar corner to enjoy a meal.
