First time here. I love trying new hot dog places as it brings back cherished memories of time spent with my dad. Service is quick and accurate, I had the #2 special, which is 2 dogs, and drink, and chips. Ordered them as "Franks favorite" (Mustard and Red Onions), and they were delicous. An ample a.ount of condiments without being overloaded. I chose the Orange aid for my drink, which is safe to order using fresh oranges. It was delicous!

One of the biggest problems I've encountered as a native northeasterner is that I'm always disappointed when I encounter northeastern food elsewhere in the country. Pizza, sandwiches, hotdogs -- among a few other things -- these are ours, and no one else seems to understand them. Even when the proprietor says they're a northeasterner themselves.
Not Just Franks is average. Average hotdogs served on average buns with average toppings. You get better at a New York or Chicago hotdog stand, which aren't exactly known for their high quality. And the pretzels... aren't. They're pizza dough twisted into pretzel shapes, then baked. Pretzels are supposed to be pretzel dough (shocker) and boiled. That's what gives them their shine and bite.
Southerners missing the mark on northeastern food doesn't really surprise me. What does surprise me is that the menu doesn't include the most obvious option. There isn't a combo that includes 2 dogs, 1 pretzel, and a beverage. That's just bizarre.
Conclusion: I should have known better when I read the name on their door. Not Just Franks? Knot Just Franks is the obviously better name -- and no, it's not already taken. This place just doesn't have any imagination or inspiration.

The food and service is fantastic. Great prices served with a smile and quick. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The lemonade was definitely on point! I ranked the atmosphere lower not because it wasn’t bad at all. It just has so much more potential to have awesome vibes while you enjoy delicious food. It also could totally be the fact that it is in a business district across from the court house that it is a more stripped down version of a fast casual restaurant. All in all, I think not just franks is a fantastic place to grab a quick bite!
