This is cute little hotdog shop right across from the courthouse. Everyone in there was very friendly and passionate about their hotdogs. I ordered the NY style hotdog with onions, mustard and ketchup. I was good average. But the onions were regular onions not the NY style onions like in NYC. Like the onions that is in the sauce. The hotdog had its own southern twist to it. This place is great for a simple affordable lunch.
Good experience overall. Friendly staff and good food. “Not Just Franks” really means that they sell pretzels as well as franks. Both are very good, the pretzels more so in my opinion. Soft and fresh. Atmosphere is interesting but nice for a hot dog restaurant. They are obviously big fans of the ketchup and mustard motif, considering the yellow and red everywhere. Great prices for Hot Dogs anywhere around Concord, Harrisburg, or Charlotte. 3 Dogs 'all-the-way (chili, slaw, yellow mustard, onions)' for $6. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Typically pretty busy for lunch with a line almost out the front door, especially during the week. I've visited many times and the pretzels seem to be very popular.
