Nice set up the best was the Dj and the Asparagus ,lamb chops was bones only and the bone was dry Mac and cheese was terrible for 200 bucks keep the bar tender get rid of the cook

I was excited to support Smooth Bar and Lounge on Valentine’s Day and to support a Black owned business in Concord. Unfortunately our experience on 2/14/2026 was disappointing. The service was unacceptable and did not meet expectations for the price. Several dishes did not match their descriptions on the menu, as yellow rice was replaced with mac and cheese. A dirty wine glass was also served to our table. We waited at least 30 minutes before receiving service. We fully understand that Valentine’s Day is a busy holiday and expected some delays, but for a total of 179 dollars the experience did not feel worth the cost. We are open to returning in the future to continue supporting the business, but this was our first impression and it was not a good one.

I really was excited to try out this bar lounge for the first time but didn’t get to enjoy the experience. My boyfriend and I sat for over 40 minutes waiting for someone to come see us. I understand it was busy as it was Valentine’s Day but we’re weren’t even greeted or had our drink orders taken. A couple came in after us who sat right next to us and were greeted and received their drinks they ordered. That is complete unacceptable and we don’t plan on coming back or recommending anyone to come here.

If I could give this place NO stars I would! visited this place on Friday 12/27/2025 w/ my fiancé.The atmosphere was to divided w/ no dance floor or room.After 2 drinks I decided to get lamb chops.I thought Burger King was the worse food I’d had UNTIL I tried these.They was covered in some kind of black sauce & tough as nails.I insisted on eating them since I already gotten them.I choked on them & my fiancé panicked & took the plate.Nobody came to check on me despite of them seeing the incident.I saw 2 door ppl watch me as I choked,then they walked to the kitchen w/o ever asking if I was ok or assisting me as I choked.The waiter seen my fiancé take the plate & put it on a table next to us,she picked it up w/o checking on us & she disappeared for 15 minutes.When the waitress came back after the incident,I told her about my horror & she said “I seen your fiancé take the plate & wondered what all that was about.”She said she’ll see about getting them removed off the ticket w/ her boss who also never came to check on me.The drinks was ok & strong but $80 for 4 drinks FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER ESTABLISHMENT!

We went to eat at this establishment after hearing good things about it. We were seated immediately, but waited about 10 minutes to order our drinks and another 10–15 minutes to receive them. During that time, a table that had just been seated behind us received their drinks before we did.
After ordering drinks, we waited almost another 20 minutes just to order food. When our waitress finally came back and asked if we were ready, we asked about a menu item. She explained it but then walked away before we could place our order.
We also asked about the dollar wings, which are served in increments of five. That was no problem. I ordered 10 wings, and my partner ordered a flatbread margherita pizza, which is supposed to come with $2 fries it did not We had a total of three drinks between us, which were supposed to be 25% off this discount was on our receipt thankfully.
When we received our bill, we were charged $20 for 10 wings. When we asked the waitress about it, she said it was because we ordered two sets of five wings—which should have totaled $10. The price was never corrected and the waitress did get a little snippy about it.
After paying and looking more closely at the receipt, we noticed a gratuity had already been added. This was never mentioned by our waitress and was not stated on the menu. On top of that, we had also tipped 20% without realizing the gratuity was included.
Safe to say, we won’t be returning to this establishment or recommending it to anyone. Don’t waste your time on mid, overpriced food paired with poor service.

Great service, beautiful decor! The drinks were good as well. The food was so-so. The one thing that I did not care for was the music was too loud for eating or talking & we were the only diners there at 6 pm. After requesting a few times for it to be lowered, which the server said was done, it was still too loud & not the genre of music for eating & talking.

Thank you Terrie for Fast, Friendly and Amazing service. My father and I came into town for the NASCAR race. We booked an Airbnb right around the corner from the Smooth Lounge bar. Our Airbnb recommend us to go and they did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. The service was delightful and right on target. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and relaxing and very inviting. We went outside to lounge on the patio, you can even kick off your shoes and enjoy your time even more, very relaxing and beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone to check out smooth lounge and bar. 10 Stars 🤩

Went for a birthday celebration the management needs to get it together when there is a large party involved you had us prepay before we even got there and hurriedly kicked us out near the end due to low staff help. Was good up until we were asked to leave the outdoor patio after the party was over. That was extremely rude when you told us to go out there after the initial party in the first place. Did not appreciate that.
