Talkin' Tacos Concord

The food was terrible to say the least. All the meat had a burnt taste, everything was super dry and had no flavor. Obviously the people in the kitchen don’t seem to care about the quality of food they put out. The lemonade tasted like soapy water. I absolutely would not recommend. Wish I could get my money and time back!

Inconsistent food, bad service.

This was our second visit to Talking Tacos. Sadly the food was not as good as the first time. The service was not great the first time, but today was worse. There was a major confusion with water cups. I was told they don’t give out water cups only Bottle water or soft drinks. That seemed crazy to me, but the manager said they do.

First time food was excellent, I’m not sure what happened. I had the Ramen and it just was bland with just a few bits of birria beef. My daughter had the tacos and those were low on flavor.

I sadly I won’t be going back.

! The tacos are great, but unfortunately the service experience overshadows the food. We’ve been here twice now, and both times the wait staff was essentially nonexistent. You order at a kiosk, yet you’re still prompted to leave a tip, which feels odd given the lack of interaction.

What really prompted this review was today’s experience with water. They will not provide a cup of tap water—at all. I understand trying to cover costs, but refusing tap water and forcing customers to buy a soda they don’t want or an overpriced bottled water is frustrating and unnecessary. Charge for the cup if you must, but this policy feels petty.

It’s a small thing that leaves a big negative impression and ultimately makes me not want to return. Good food alone isn’t enough when the service is lackluster and basic hospitality is missing. This place could do much better.

We ordered dinner from Talkin’ Tacos (Concord) yesterday to celebrate both our anniversary and Christmas, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.

Our order included Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, Southwest Chicken Tacos, and Chicken Tomato Basil Ramen. Instead of the Southwest Chicken Tacos, we received a second order of Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, and instead of the chicken ramen, we were given beef ramen.

Mistakes can happen, but this was a significant mix-up involving multiple wrong items. I hope the restaurant improves order accuracy and takes situations like this more seriously in the future.

The burrito was dry barely any cheese sauce. I did not get the avocado salsa so nothing for my chips.Wont order again.

5 STARS!!!! First time visiting and next time we're back to Concord we'll be back!! Exceptional food!! Love love the atmosphere and cool vibe. Tiny place that packs a punch! Don't sleep on the Talking Taco

There ability to deliver food is horrible. Simple order. Rice bowl, steak burrito and a chicken burrito. Everyone done eating and it still took almost 25 minutes just to get the chicken burrito which we had to get it to go. Pathetic

We ordered the food via pickup and unfortunately the bottom of the pizza was burnt and the pizza had a large indentation on the side.

When I tell you this place do not order from at all. We ordered a biria pizza from door dash, and they sent a burnt small pizza. I called them for a remake of the pizza. They had the nerves to tell me call door dash. The crazy part is door dash was not the one who burnt the pizza. This place has no class or customer service. Please avoid this place, dont spend your hard earned money on this sorry excuse of an establishment.

I tried the taco trio with fries and chose chicken, steak, and beef. Each option had great flavor, but the beef was easily my favorite. The fries were perfectly crisp and paired nicely with the tacos. On top of the food, the atmosphere inside was relaxed and enjoyable, making the whole visit a great experience.
