This restaurant shows open on Google and nothing was indicated on their personal website to the contrary. We made our way over their to try out their sushi and more for a birthday, only to find out that they were closed for what appears to be renovations. Or perhaps permanently closed? No restaurant sign on the building currently. No idea. Super frustrating. But just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
My pick-up order was 20 minutes late and this is what a $26 dollar hibachi gets you; 8 overcooked pieces of steak and a tiny piece of salmon. Save your money, this place isn’t worth it.
First time going here (we sat at the bar) they asked for our drink order, we ordered beer + wine. They said (after giving the order) they couldn't serve alcohol because they had no bartender… we didn’t realize we came on a buy 1 get 1 night. So we over ordered sushi rolls and we’re not disappointed. We’ve been going back only on buy 1 get 1 nights & since then they always had a bartender
Sushi was excellent! Highly recommend. We ordered online while we stayed in Charlotte, a very user-friendly site. Quick service as well. Ready when it said it would be.
Kid-friendliness: Menu has kid friendly options. Which is great for my kiddos. They love being able to pick from the menu, and they even had a sushi option for them.
I really should have known better when there were only 3 other tables with other people when we walked in on Saturday at 6pm. Their food was just ok, the service was slow and there really was no reason for it. We will not return. Maybe they are better for lunch or weekdays. I'm sorry.
Service was sloppy, not horrible just unprofessional. Food was wayyyy over-cooked and was only edible once drowned in sauce. Overall experience was 3/5 but the food was trash for the price so I won't go back. 1 star
I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It is so good and you will leave feeling full. My husband and I went there for his birthday because he loves hibachi. After talking to the manager and our server they recommended, the fire roll for my husband because he loves spicy food and they recommended the crab pop roll for me because I had never tried sushi before. They were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi to split and it is more than enough food! The restaurant is perfect for birthdays, date nights, celebrations or just perfect for someone who loves hibachi or sushi! We love this place!
This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been too. They sat us down and the server asked us for our drink order which took forever to get. We ordered an appetizer and had to remind the server that we ordered it. When we finally received our dinner, we noticed hair in our food. We asked to speak to a manager, who arrived with our sushi and showed it to her. She noticed it also and could tell it wasn’t our hair. She then wanted to know if we still wanted our sushi. Are you kidding me right now? I explained to her that I would more than happy to pay for the tofu that we ate but I was not paying for the food that we didn’t touch. This place was disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money going there.
Wanted sushi and this other place was a hour wait. We found this place and was seated right away, our sushi came out in a timely manner and our waitress was awesome. Sushi was really good, i would stop and eat here again when i travel to concord again
This was probably the worst sushi my 5 person family has ever had. My 12 yrs even said, Publix is way better ! That says a lot ! I ordered sashimi deluxe & I specifically said ," please do not give me anything boring like salmon", well I ended up with half my order with salmon, she forgoty soup & salad, which was terrible ! My husband got an eel sauce, roll & the eel sauce was burnt. My daughter ordered shrimp tempura & the only thing you could taste was the oil. Just awful! I told our server I was disappointed that I specifically said no salmon & half my order was salmon & she didn't seem to care, then I asked where my soup & salad was & said she forgot & brought it over. Do yourself a favour & go elsewhere if you want decent sushi.

Worst experience ever, ordered takeout. Got back to the room to realize not only had I been overcharged. $45 for 2 kids plates and an adult chicken. Not only was my order wrong, no utensils to eat with, no shrimp sauce and also asked for soy sauce during pickup and was told it’s in the bag…it was not. Called and said I Have to drive all the way back up just to get a free plate, but they can’t make another plate because the kitchen is now closed. Food was also cold by the time we located utensils to eat with and spring rolls were mushy.
It seemed like they cut corners and don't season anything. My sushi was missing some components that was supposed to be in it. We ordered my son's food first and then ended up showing AFTER we got our food. Everything in the restaurant seems to be done without any effort and pure laziness. Food is overpriced for what's worth. I will not be coming back
Was not expecting this place to be as good as it was. The service was phenomenal, the food came out quickly, and it was absolutely delicious! This places will be a regular spot for us from here on out.
Out of four rolls, none of them had any flavor. I felt like I was eating rice with cucumber. Imitation crab was dry and old. Miso soup is bland too, not enough miso powder. No better than Harris teeter sushi. Don’t go.
This place is one of my go to sushi places. There is definitely room for Improvement. The menu could be a bit better.
