Amalfi's Pizza of Conover

I really enjoy their cheesesteaks and the staff is courteous. Their pizzas have been hit or miss for me over the last year though.

My Pizza was very, very bland. Order the Amalfi special joint and topping was just thrown in all over. No taste at all. Crust was tough. Was really disappointed

Closed on Sundays. Surcharges on credit cards. Does not accept $50 or $100 bills. Portions are smaller and prices are higher. Used to be good, but not so much anymore.

Love this place for New York style pizza by the slice. Only thing I don't like is the order ring up and payment process. The receipt you get doesn't show what you ordered and only shows the amount due. If an issue occurs with your order, you have no proof or way to fact-check anything on your end and more or less have to argue with the girl running the cash register.

That was my experience today, and I am pretty sure they were talking crap about me and my gf after the fact through texting because the two people in the front kept staring at us and smirking.

I gave 2 stars for service because we called in our order and had to repeat it to the girl on the phone multiple times and when we picked it up and got home, my food was not made the way I ordered. Asked for a cheese steak sub all the way add Xtra cheese and Xtra mayo. Got home and only had steak and cheese, little mayo. No toppings. I was so upset after an already stressful day of losing a family member. Definitely not the service we are use to from here. I was to upset and stressed to call and complain.

Small place to eat. I would call and see if there are places to sit. The food is ok for the south. Sorry, but the South is not known for good pizza. The chicken wings at this location are ok. The subs are large.

Food was delicious can't say anything negative about that at all. Service is where I had my issue. The young man behind the counter with glasses went out of his way to not respond with a vocal answer but instead headnods and shaking his head no. I will give partial credit, his coworker noticed and was trying her absolute best to make up for the lack of human interaction. To wrap up the visit, he was told to seperate 2 items on 2 separate orders, when questioned he "had no idea he was suppose to" and instead took the change to still pay for both cannoli's and charged 1.75 back to a card instead of active listening and even though they were to be 2 seperate order he still placed them in the same box, size of cannoli's were great though. I came with a party of 8, so even the lack of space for such a large party, we mostly enjoyed ourselves the exception being this young man. Wonderful pasta, garlic knots were top knotch and the cannoli's are some of the best I've ever had. Hope the customer service improves because I truly believe this could have an impact on your business.

It's roughly a half hour drive for me to get here from my house, and I have numerous other pizza places closer to me, and a bunch that even deliver to my home, but when I want a pizza, I happily make the drive out here to get one. Pizza is perfect, and their other dishes are phenomenal as well.

Putting the condiments on the bottom made my bread soggy and fell apart. Meat was DRY and barely any sauce on the wings. WASN'T worth the money !!!!
