Came to Elizabeth City cookout. Order not made right the first time around. Ordered a single burger and a double. The single had more meet than the double. The hamburger didn’t even cover the bun. Had more bun than meat. Go to wipe out hands. And no napkins given. Tighten up.

First time eating here and never again. When I got my order I assumed it was complete but it wasn't. I only ordered 2 burgers!! I went back and told them that I only got 1 burger. Took them forever to bring my food to me and when they did I was missing the sauces that was originally in the bag in the first place. What a horrible experience for my first time eating here. I really wanted to like this place but after this experience, I'll never eat at Cook Out again!

To the young lady working the drive thru at lunch time on Dec. 10th with the clear earplugs, THANK YOU! You were working your tail off and still were nice enough to grant a request of mine (even if it was an extra burden at the moment.) To her managers, she was operating like she had 4 arms, all the while collecting money, new orders, punching keysand getting my food and change. I watched a little while as I waited. And I was stressed out watching what you had to do to get us our food. I hope you see this and find it in your hearts to give her a raise. Thank you!

I used to come here pretty often before work to get food and it’s gradually gotten worse, I come here today after not coming for a while to order a hamburger tray with fries and a walking taco. He handed me my plate and it was really light so I opened it up and there were no fries in my plate and the walking taco which supposed to consist of a small bag of Doritos with hamburger meat and cheese but instead, all I got was just plain dorito chips that had a few broken up pieces of chips in the bag with no taco meat or cheese, this was the last straw. I’m not giving my hard-earned money to these people can’t even make simple food.

The absolute worse cookout ever!!! The people working today were horrible. No work ethic at all. Messed my order up twice!!!! They don’t listen. They can’t cook because everything was so dry. I’m glad corporate is making this right. I will go to a different cookout where they can actually cook and they have values and manners. And please - Manager don’t respond with the typical response. I’m never coming back and you need to hire friendly people with better attitudes. This place has went down hill bad !!! Today is Election Day. Everyone working inside around 4 needs to be fired
You take a gamble every time you come here to make sure you got the right food you order. So far after last 4 visits I got the wrong food. I’m down bad on my luck. I hate coming here and I never would if it wasn’t for the wife.

My experience with this location the last few times have been dealing with absolutely rude employees. I ordered 2 Quesadilla trays and 2 shakes. I get to the window and was only rang up for 1 tray and 1 Shake. I reminded the you lady that I had said 2trays and 2 Shakes. Very rudely all but slings the shake @ me and gets a rude attitude. As she began correcting the order she just kept slinging things at me through the window. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now own… Corporate needs to get a grip on their employees.

I am not one to complain but good grief can y’all please get my order right. Last week I got a grilled chicken sandwich instead of fried. Tonight I got a freaking grilled chicken Sandwich again instead of a BBQ sandwich. And what’s with giving me 3 chicken nuggets for my chicken nugget side. This place has gone downhill. Please at least pretend like you care.
