Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant

Our waitress was very rude last night; I will never go back.

Terribly disappointing experience ordering from Conover. Dashed food and it was ice cold, tasted stale, had barely any sauce, and just generally tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Order was prepped and delivered super quick on DoorDash, so I know it wasn’t a driver issue. Have always had good experiences dining in at the Hickory location, but I would never waste another dollar ordering from / dining at the Conover location after this experience and I’ll probably avoid the other location from now on. Would not recommend, there’s plenty of other Mexican restaurants in town.

Placed a online order and unfortunately it was to this location and not the hickory one I usually go to, I will make sure in the future I double check my location. The portion size was way smaller almost half and it didn’t even have the queso on it. My salsa was also barely half full and was cold like it was in the fridge. Defiantly don’t recommend Conover location.

Overall it was a nice experience. My Sister wasn't too happy with her Fajita plate. She said it wasn't hot. The drink she had was fantastic. At little disappointed the Manager didn't come to us and ask if everything was good like she did with the table right next to us.
Will probably visit again.

Cook time was slow for an ACP and Taco salad. Really let down too because I saw a really good-looking taco salad post from last year and def not the same...

I've been living in Hickory NC for 3 years from Cleveland Ohio. Dos Amigos was the first restaurant we went to. The food has ALWAYS been good. They've got a Burrito called the " California Burrito and it awesome. That was my favorite until today I tried the steak and chicken fajita. Omg, off the chain. Crazy good. They gave me so much chicken and steak, I'm have buy Tortilla shells to finish it. They me 3 tortilla shells and I eat the 3 by needed more shells for all that I had left. This place is my favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. Never had a bad meal. 10 stars

Horrible waiter, watered down margaritas and my fiancés food was cold. We’ve had this waiter before and he has the personality of a rock. Then this waiter mouthed off about getting no tip and my fiance said excuse me? So we won’t be back. And we’ve gone there for 15 years. Never ever again

Nothing bad to say, nothing over the top. Typical Mexican food.. salsa was good, on the spicy/hot side.
