Fresh Chef Kitchen

We came here for my son's adoption day anniversary at his request. He wanted ribs and loves the ones that are served here. My two other kids ordered the kids burgers, the burgers were cooked properly but the fries were very poor. They were very soggy and flimsy. My wife ordered the salmon with the mushroom risotto and asparagus and I ordered the filet with mushroom risotto and the burgundy mushrooms and onions. They came back to our table and told us that they were out of the mushroom risotto which was no big deal to us. We let the manager know our substitutions. Once they brought out my wife's and my food it was plated wrong, they took it back to fix and brought it back out the exact same way as the first time. With items we never ordered. Third time was a charm, the steak and salmon were cooked perfectly but the asparagus was pretty bland and under cooked. Overall I think the staff and kitchen were off tonight because we noticed other tables were having issues as well. Waitress was very polite and attentive.

Ate here for the 1st time. The food was so good! Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were so nice, no mistakes on the order. I definitely will eat here again!

I enjoy the food and atmosphere at Fresh Chef restaurants - I’ve visited three locations over the past few months and have enjoyed the food very much. Today at the Conover location, the maitre’d took a dislike to me for some reason and when she walked away from my table, she rolled her eyes. Uncool. Our server was absolutely sweet and attentive, a stark contrast to the snotty behavior displayed by her colleague.

The food was delicious! There was no wait to be seated and they took our order right away. Elaine, our server, was wonderful. She even got is free dessert for our honeymoon.

One of their servers made a comment about me before she hung up .i guess they hire Horrible and childish servers . Im spending $42 and i hear a personal comment before hanging up, unprofessional! I will never eat here again.

Visited for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Had the burger special and it’s an unbeatable value. $10! I wish took a picture of it but it disappeared so fast. Yum.

Lasagna special is on Wednesday, we arrived at 1:45 pm and was told they were out. If this is your special of the day then why not have enough prepared to serve? We had a terrible experienced. I don't understand how this happened when 30 minutes later our friend had double portions of lasagna. We will never return. My husband has sent many customers to Fresh Chef however, no more will be referred

Nice relaxing place to grab a bite to eat. Stopped in on a whim with my wife to grab dinner for the first time, may consider trying it again but unsure. The service was great and we were greeted by multiple people, so that part they nailed. My food on the other hand was “ok”, and that may be being generous. The food lacked much taste and felt borderline unseasoned, as did my wife’s meal. Everything was cooked appropriately, just not very flavorful, which was unfortunate.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Absolutely wonderful customer service! Ordered something I have never tried and didn’t like it and they tried numerous times to “make it right” but it was in no way in any form their fault! Wonderful staff all the way around!
