The manager she is black I think the employees was calling her Shay anyways she is very rude to her employees she always has a stank look on her face and 2 of the employees was talking saying how disrespectful she was and they was gonna quit and on top of that the food was cold and nasty I would never come back her the employee should get a raise off how welcoming and kind they was even with the food being nasty they even open doors for you and sometimes bring the food to you. I ordered the Frisco sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. My sandwhich was room temperature at best. The cheese was cold and didn't melt. Not a very good sandwich. I think I was there about 8:30 AM on Thursday 8/21/25.
I had to wait a few minutes which I don't at all. I received excellent service from the young lady behind the counter.

i placed an order thru the app EXPECTING HOT & FRESH but received whatever had been basking tooo long under the lights thats extra chewy; that somebody felt needed to be shoved out the window rather than tossed
* chicken thats sat toooo long has NO CORE TEMPERATURE & gets TOOOO CHEWY as it cools
MAYBE YOU'D LIKE TO RESPOND WITH WHAT YOUR SHELF LIFE IS after coming out of the grease so i & others can make a fair evaluation using YOUR standard UNLESS THAT NUMBER IS TOOOO EMBARRASSING TO POST & OWN

Horrible experience and I should have known after waiting 20 to order food with an empty lobby and 20 more minutes for my food. The fries taste fish. I'm allergic to fish and I know it's against policy to cook fish in the fry oil. Newton/Conover Hardee's literally just ruined my whole order. First time having Hardee's in 3 years and it's a huge disappointment. And last but not least the whole restaurant specially the door way smell like old mop water. Every worker in there looked high as hell.

Empty restaurant and they still managed to screw up my order. And give me a lukewarm (incorrect) sandwich. I guess I should be thankful the fries were fresh
Placed my order online, while I was in the parking lot, got in and I'm still here waiting for my food after 20 minutes. Someone else got after me and another guy and he got his burger right away, the 3 ladies working here are going at slow motion, especially the one in the kitchen, she forgot to make my burger.

First time eating at Hardee’s in roughly 20 years. It was bad. The fries were cold, old and broken. The bun was stale and cold. The “hot” ham and cheese was cold and the cheese unmelted. The lady at the drive thru was cold and unfriendly. Parking lot and drive thru was empty. Now I know why.
