By far some of the best bbq ive ever had, I grew up in the Midwest and we put sauce on our pork, never again will I be doing that, I've had the greens and they are sweet and tender, highly recommend, the one mark against would be the days they are closed, but don't let that stop you, get there and eat some great food

Closed - inexplicably - our disappointment.

Great food, great prices. Eastern NC BBQ at its best, and the hushpuppies are on point! Come with an appetite, leave with left overs!

They used to be in Creedmoor, but have moved up Highway 56 about a mile to the edge of Butner (just east of I85). The new place has a lot more room for tables, but it's still a "take-in" style place - order at the counter, food is served to your table, but in the takeout-style containers. But that makes for a perfect workday lunch as it's about as fast as possible and already packaged up if you need to take some with you.

I wish it was a little closer to my house, but it's still the best BBQ anywhere near!

My experience was like going to a relative’s house. The server greeted us as soon as we walked in, and everyone else who entered. She had conversation with me and was very friendly. The cook(chef) was also very friendly and had time to talk with us like family too! The restaurant looks nice inside but we had to sanitize our table and many tables looked like they weren’t wiped down and the floor was sticky. I ordered the gizzards with green beans and potato salad. My food was hot and extremely delicious! I was completely satisfied with the portion size as well! I didn’t get a pic 😞 sorry

The food here is very good, it's nice to have a good BBQ restaurant in the area again haven't had one since Bob's closed. I urge everyone to support this business so they will stay around, these people do a great job

Yayyass hunty!. Finally, the long awaited wait is over. They say they were open for about a month now, but we did not know. I will try to post pics of the front later, but they are where the old Owl House used to be. Look across the street from Waffle House, and the are there. I just updated the site to include the updated address and telephone number, so stop on by or give them a call.

On the way to Florida me and my husband stopped and we both said to each other that was the absolute best damn BBQ! We ordered the BBQ sandwiches and this is the first place I've ever been where the whole time eating the bun never once got soggy and all the juice stayed on the meat! Amazing flavor and loved the seasons on the frys! Extremely clean inside and extremely friendly. Keep it up guys! Yall doing amazing and we will most definitely be back in 2 weeks when we come home!!
