They catered dinner for my job and the food was bland. On top of this the 2 people serving the food had terrible customer service on top of being slow. I shouldn't be the 5th person in line waiting 30 minutes to order, much less get my food. There was no physical menu to read before I ordered either. I expected a little more urgency being that the food was already made and being kept warm. On top of this, the rude gentleman was handling money with the same gloves he was using to serve food, his butt was hanging out and he was sweating into the food. You gotta have at least good customer service or good product to survive in any business. If this keeps up The Bayou will definitely close soon since none of those 2 contingencies are held.

We contacted them to do a event and they agreed to the date and time, well the date of the event i tried to contact them through email, phone and fb messages and none of them was answered and they was a NO SHOW! Today I reached back out to them and they told me that they emailed me and for me to check my spam. Nope nothing there either and just just pretty much said it was their fault and i asked why they didn't call or answer my fb messages and she said she never got the notification and our children has activities all day. Wow nice way to run a business!!!

We stopped by twice this summer for their snowcones and both times had to wait over 30 minutes in the blazing heat for 2 small snowcones. It's literally just ice and a squirt of koolaid on top. It should take like 30 seconds maximum to make. We won't go back here anymore.

The last 3 times I have ordered from here they have canceled twice because they had ran out of everything and the most recent did not contact me and would not answer their phones to figure out why.

We waited 30 minutes to get shrimp étouffée, gumbo, and oysters. The food was bland and the rice was undercooked and hard. I was really dissatisfied and very disappointed in the quality. I spent $45 on some food I had to bring home and cook and season, would have been better to buy the box mix.

I tried Baton Rouge Cuisine at a work luncheon. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I tried the crawfish etouffee and it was 95% rice and 5% crawfish if that. It looks nothing like their picture. I am not convinced the other options are better but good luck if you decide to give them a try since I do support food trucks and small business.
