North Star Seafood Restaurant

Stopped by today for lunch at 11.30am to find an empty parking lot. No sign on the door of any type. I stopped in at one of the businesses across the parking lot & they said they had opened back up for a couple weeks, then closed again. She thought someone said they had " Gone back home" It was owned by a Greek family. I just dialed the number & it has been changed, no new number available.....

Well, my complaint is about the fact that this place isn't open, BUT says it is open on its website. Every restaurant in the five different cities I've googled that is not open shows on thier website that they're closed. Whether due to covid or have gone out of business, ect etc. So, since every decent seafood restaurant in the vicinity is closed on Mondays, we chose this one specifically because it had good reviews and advertised it is open today from 11am-9pm. It shows their weekly specials, the menu ect. My best friend and I drove over 20 miles only to arrive at a closed restaurant with these small faded signs in the window stating that they're closed due to covid. You couldn't even read the signs with very small faded writing without walking up very close. In this day and time, if your business has a website and you are closed, it should state that is the case. Ive never been to this establishment and because of this reason, I never will. There's plenty of great seafood restaurant's around that are advertising on thier website whether they're open or not and the correct hours.

I can't comment on the food or service because this restaurant is showing on its website that it is open for business and that's NOT the case. My best friend and I attempted to visit this establishment today for lunch due to the fact that almost every decent seafood restaurant is closed on Mondays in the area and it had good reviews. It clearly states that it's open from 11am-9pm and advertises its daily specials and menu ect etc. So we drove over 20 miles out of the way to a restaurant that's not open. In this day and time, if your business has a website and you don't manage your website properly, that's unprofessional, inconsiderate and just LAZY. Every type of restaurant I have googled in five different cities that is closed or has different hours due to covid has stated that. But not this place. They have these small faded signs in the window that you can't even read unless you walk up very close to it, stating that they are closed due to covid and apparently have been closed for quite some time. This is very unprofessional and because of that I won't ever go here and give them a chance because they obviously don't care that their website is basically false advertising and there are many other good seafood restaurants around that manage their websites very well and people don't have to drive out of their way to a closed establishment

You guys have lost a loyal customer. I used to get takeout from there twice a month and dine in at least once a month and I spent anywhere from $150 to $200 a month at your restaurant. And I have been doing that for the last 8 years . Thanks for letting me down.

Good food and great people!!

We have eaten here for many year. We have not ever been disappointed! They have some of the freshest tasting seafood in this county. The batter that they use is light so you can taste the seafood. Their menu is diverse. This is a great place for small or large groups. Just call ahead if you need seating for large groups. Also, it's a good place to take kids. They enjoy the food and the atmosphere. We get take out plates from here often.

Very good service and the catfish plate was excellent. Good place for lunch if you don't mind spending 2 or 3 bucks more than fast food.

Don't charge an extra $2.00 for sharing the seafood platter

Perhaps today they were not having a good day seeing as this was recommended to me as good place to eat. The place is very clean, good parking, somewhat friendly waitress...but the main food, why I came here, grilled Mahi Mahi...I am no chef but I have eaten and cooked Mahi Mahi prob. more than 100 times; either the fish was old or it was left out to dry, on 1 to 5, 1 for dry 5 for perfect moisture this was a 2.

Food was delicious as always! Waitress was friendly and attentive.

Great food at great prices. Some plates are so big you can split among two people. They also have a drive thru so you can call ahead and pick up your food.
