Absolute favorite Mexican restaurant, and is better than the other Papas and Beer locations I have tried. I recommend the fajitas and the nachos!! Birria is amazing also and they have several Birria options. We have been here multiple times and Sebastian is the BEST waiter! 10/10 recommend!!!

We had a party of 40, they only.put 1 server to that huge party, so everything took awhile, even the drinks, but the drinks were good, food was good, but the bean dip they serve you has no taste and the small cups they offer from the Salsa bar last about 3 or 4 chips and its gone. The Guacamole was great

Some of the best Mexican in NC. Please move to the Triad! The prices are better and the food is better, especially fajitas. Steak and chicken are seasoned and large slices not small slivers. The Salsa bar is great! Shrimp are seasoned and larger than most Mexican restaurants. You will pay more for less and less quality at other Mexican restaurants.

Service was phenomenal, all the wait staff were extremely friendly. The food finished cooking very quickly, the portion sizes were huge, and the food was good quality as well. I got enchiladas and my husband got the tropical salmon plate which he said was fantastic. I also ordered a cocktail which was really delicious and we got the tableside guacamole - it was really cool to watch it be made right then and there!
The salsa bar is nice, their tacos aren’t great but everything else is.

My wife and I stopped by Papa's & Beer for dinner, yesterday. My wife had the steak enchilada and i had the cheese enchiladas. We had an appetizer of guacamole. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very good. This is a very good Mexican restaurant. We will be back.

Great little place to come drink a beer get a bite of some good food and chill if you want!! You don't have to eat, they allow you to hang out but don't wear out your welcome though!! TACO SALAD SLAPS HARD!!
