Food was delicious. Owner (not professional btw)came through to ask how we were and if we got served. We said waiting for order. Comment w/your lucky you got waited on so fast. It's never like that. Then later proceeds through resturant with a full glass of red wine drinking it for himself. Really classy guy?

I like Sammy’s just fine, but I wish their menu was a little healthier. Seems like everything is deep fried. Tons of beefy, brown food. The only veggie dish is a Greek salad, which is ok, but not very fresh or interesting.

Placed to go order for French dip sandwich, pretzel bites and got a cake when we were there to pick up as well. Menu notes it comes on a baguette but online makes you choose white, wheat or sub roll. Selected white and typed “toasted baguette please”
Arrive home with the food and it is on white bread…and no au jus.
Have to return to the restaurant for the au jus, inquire about the bread choice and was told it was prepared that was because of our selection….it was our first time and we are very bummed that we had to return for the complete order and then reheat our food at home that we paid 30+ dollars for…with a 10% tip for the to go. Food may been good if it was right the first time and warm? Don’t think we will try again though, very disappointed

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but my experience was surreal enough that I wanted to share. We were seated and everything was normal until a stranger, who I can only assume was the manager walked up. The man never actually stated who he was, but began by asking who was paying; a perfectly normal question to start with considering we had no idea who he was. I let my father answer, because I was not about to respond to what I presumed was an old drunk. Apparently the wine was getting to him though, because he next spoke to me like a kid with an iPhone addiction. He told me to put down my phone and pay attention to the ones paying for the bill. Really odd considering even if you took twenty years off me, it would still come across as demeaning for someone that age. The idea that I could be discussing and showing things from my phone to my family was beyond him. I guess trading investments are the same as Skibidi Toilet to those that see phones as brain rot machines. I would have thought we as a society had matured past "kids these days" mentalities when dealing with customers, but apparently I hadn't been to Sammy's before. When he started going table by table greeting other people I realized who he was, and it made the past events even more strange in retrospect. The sheer awkward nature of the conversation would have been fun if the food was good, but it was just okay at best. Instead I was left with feelings of bewilderment and a desire to have gone somewhere else instead.
