Just had an awful experience at this place. Came in when there wasn’t over packed and these people still manage to make my order 1hr later. Meanwhile waited and saw how people who came after me had their food ready. Don’t recommend at all.

Best Mexican food in Charlotte, Gastonia, Dallas area. Food is prepared fresh with every order (it takes a while but I rather wait than get crapy quality food) Expect to wait 15-40 mins depending on how busy they are. Keep in mind that they are across the street from the Barnyard flee market, so all the traffic comes from there, as expected with the great flavor of their food. Customers service is spot on and will meet all your wants and needs with every order. Tacos are made with hand made tortillas and the guaraches are to die for. 100% recommend the tacos de tripa extra crunchy and the gurache campechano. 100% recommend this spot, just be patient and bring your whole family along. You will not be disappointed.

My family and i love coming to La Doña by far best Mexican Food ive had near Charlotte , Gastonia and Kannapolis area!!! They offer so many delicious options when it comes to food , drinks and salsas! They gets lots of customers specially coming from the flea market so its obviously Expected to have a bit of a wait time for a place that makes food so fresh.
We do like calling ahead of time to ensure our food is ready if we want it by a specific time 10000/10 will recommend!!! 😃😃😃😃

waited over and hour for overpriced food the lady at the window got upset when we complained about our drinks not being large even though
we asked for them large and decided to make every order except for ours

The tacos from “la doña” are mid at best. Usually served with all the fixings ( regardless if you wanted them or not) and you can top them with bottles of salsa that have been sitting out for hours in the sun. Even so they scratch the itch for street tacos in the Dallas area. Unfortunately for a taco truck the service is exceptionally slow and over priced . Wait times are over 45 mins for a street food that is usually served within seconds. Poor customer service and attitude from the lady at the window is the icing on the cake. Short and abrupt don’t expect to be greeted or treated like a customer. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm in the area and due to the lack of variety these taco vendors are brazen enough to charge upwards of 3 to 4 dollars for a single taco and then wonder why people compare them to regular fast food joints. In conclusion even with these complaints, like I said before, the food is decent but just don’t expect much else from your experience here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheel chair accessible unless you wanna push through gravel and dirt. They are located in a grassy knoll with gravel and mud in certain areas.

They didn't get our order in time, we bought some sopes and the truth is that the food has no flavor, the orchata water was tasteless, the only good thing was the sauce.

The food is great. The bad thing about everything is that they last a long time.
