A group of three of us stopped by for a business lunch. This a hidden jewel from a bygone era. We all had the large classic cheese burger and fries loaded. The sweet tea was devine. The burgers were old school hand patted and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. A couple of notes to address some complaints in the reviews. If it comes loaded it has slaw on it which does cool it down. Ours were cooked as ordered and the fries burnt my mouth. Down home folks doing the restaurant business old school in a new era is tough but appreciated by those of us from a different era.

Tommy's is a working person's place, there are no frills, just good food for a decent price. I was disappointed when my first 2 choices(Rueben and Livermash) were not available. So I went with the old faithful, tried and true burger. The burger was good but could have used some s+p while cooking. The fries were fresh and a little greasy. The tea was just the way I like it, sweet and cold. All in all, I got what I paid for and I didn't leave hungry.The staff was very friendly, my order was taken quickly and I got my food hot and fresh. I'd go back on my next trip through.

I love BLT's, so much so that I've had one in many different states while traveling cross country with my wife and dog, Loki. The BLT at Tommy's is one of my favorites. Thick, bacony and fresh, plus I don't have to take out a loan to get one.Can't wait to get another one!

Let me tell you if you love a good chuckwagon sandwich, you need to go to Tommys drive in. You will not be disappointed with quality or price. It is well worth the price. Melts in your mouth and its big. I will definitely be returning there. Best ive ever ever had. Thank You for such a delicious sandwich.

I call once again to ask for a refund at this point but they said we needed to bring the food back. I was not about to drive back to the place for a third time and give them the food because thats a waste of my time and gas.

Delicious, but don’t plan on this being a quick visit. We came for lunch at 11:30am on a Wednesday - had our order in by 11:45… and didn’t get our food (burger and BBQ plate by the way, nothing special or customized) until 12:40. Even the waitress was at a loss for words, though nothing was done to try and rectify the situation.Once again - great tasting food, just don’t plan anything for hours afterwards to be on the safe side.

Passing thru when I saw this place with my name I had to stop. Sadly I must have ordered the wrong thing because I'm not impressed.I love and support small business but this was a pet down. Service was great so I was hopeful but the food was a big miss.I ordered the fish plate and got two frozen flat fish planks. The hush puppies were mushy and the homemade coleslaw was just as bad.At least the milkshake was good. I'll try again but stay away from the fish.Parking: Driveway is not clearly marked and you could end up on a private street that's not connected to the parking lot
