Apparently they gave changed ownership. we have eaten there off and on for 15 years..Seafood was the best. Oysters and shrimp were good but flounder was not. Looked as if it was purchased preloaded the fried. Had a weird taste. Perhaps it was fried in same oil as other foods. Don't know but I doubt I order that again.

Spent $30 on a 3 item combo plate and it was all cooked to death beyond being able to eat it. I’d gotten it to go and called the mgr. back and all she could advise was to bring it back and this is after waiting forever and driving 15 miles home instead of issuing a refund or another meal in its place. I certainly didn’t want more overcooked seafood or the attitude that came with when I told them it as overcooked.

Excellent service and food. Not much else to say, its a really good family resturaunt with plenty of seating and fresh food, and seafood. The Village burger is a solid American burger, and the beef was cooked properly, everything was served hot and was quick to the table and the price was extremely fair. The family that owns it is above and beyond, incredibly friendly and will make you feel at home. Can't say enough good things about this quaint and lovely resturaunt.
The Denton in-laws have been telling mouthwatering tales about the village for years and I finally made it in to dine, and I'll be back. Great food and excellent customer service.

The food was good and waitresses were down to earth and very polite. First time going to diner and I really enjoyed the experience. I loved the salute to our fallen soldiers and the small town feel inside. The food was really good the only thing I didn't like was the green beans. The green beans were sweet. I don't like sugar in vegetables. Other than that the food was good.
