Great local diner. Sorta in the middle of nowhere North Carolina. Service was very fast and nice. Large menu with solid pricing. Only weird piece is the windows of the restaurant are tinted.

I checked it out for lunch my first time because it makes a nice motorcycle ride from Four Oaks or from pretty much any direction, meaning it is out on a road and not much more around. Inside the place is attractive, very well-done and tempting menus on the walls and chalkboards, breakfast, lunch, etc. The windows have that blue tint that makes the weather look gloomier (remember I'm on a motorcycle) than it is but the atmosphere is very nice, homey. My Philly cheese-steak sandwich was good, the meat was very tasty. The fries were light and good. Service was good. I'll be riding out here for more this summer, definitely.

My husband and I got 2 plates from there today. I got the smothered pork chops and gravy, cabbage, and potato salad. He got the fried chicken, rice and gravy, and potato salad. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The pork chops were so tender I could cut them with a plastic fork!
