Extremely overpriced very very greasy the rice was floating in oil. I asked for prime rib cooked rare. It was brought out so overcooked it was burn. The service was OK. The atmosphere is typical of a Mexican restaurant that looks like it was built out of a chain, but the food is rather disgusting

Very small portions, $24.00 price tag for 2 oz portion of thin grilled chicken. The food is so full of grease it is fried not grilled. They trade flavor for fat and value for overpriced bland food. The service is shabby at best.

Went here for the 1st time tonight with my wife and I was really surprised! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant now in the Dunn/Benson area! Highly recommend.

I got the hot steak tacos with soup for a side and a cheese dip. The soup was a little salty, but the tacos and cheese dip were really good, and the waitress (I think her name was Alejandra) was really nice and attentive too.

Absolutely love this place. Food is always good. Fast, dont hardly have to wait for nothing. Big drink menu. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is amazing. Chips and salsa are to die for 🤤 one of the best Mexican restaurants around. You won't be disappointed.

Enchiladas con carne asada are very tasty I’ll ask for both of the enchiladas to be filled with chicken the Ground Meat on one of the enchilada didn’t have any flavor.

Great atmosphere, great food. Worth the visit. It is a better and more diverse dining experience, but it is 15-20% more expensive than the traditional Mexican restaurants in the area. The food was great and worth visit. The portions are large. Drinks are good, and Service was attentive and quick turn around when we were there.

Terrible place to work. They make their sereverscome in 2 hours before opening to clean but don't allow them to clock in until they get their first table. They hire non spanish speaking employees only to later punish the by taking away their shifts for not speaking spanish.

Birra tacos recommend, the refried beans and rice were good. Service is excellent and prices are fair.

Some of the food they serve was cold. When we finish eating, the waitress doesn't even ask if we need something else. Deserts or something, the guy that was with us was trying to tell her if they could at least warm up the food, but she doesn't appear, he wa trying to order something else but she show up till we almost done with the food.

Where to even begin!?

This was hands-down one of the best dining experiences my girlfriend and I have had in a long time. To start, we ordered the guacamole and chorizo dip for the table, and both were every bit as delicious as they sounded—absolutely bursting with flavor. I had a cocktail that, unfortunately, I can’t recall the name of, but my girlfriend had the Christmas Surprise cocktail, which was fun, festive, and incredibly tasty.

For my entrée, I had an incredible steak, chorizo, and barbacoa platter served on a bed of rice and beans. Every bite was a flavor explosion—it truly exceeded my expectations. While I can’t remember my girlfriend’s exact order off the top of my head, we both agreed the food was so good it left us planning our next visit before we even finished the meal.

The cocktails weren’t just delicious; they added a fun twist to the whole experience, and our server went above and beyond, answering all of my questions about the menu and drink options with patience and expertise.

Not only will we be returning, but we’ve also started a list of friends and family who we absolutely have to bring along so they can experience how amazing this place is too.

If I had one tiny critique, it would be that their menu isn’t fully updated online, which made it harder to remember the names of the incredible dishes we enjoyed. But honestly, that’s a small issue compared to how phenomenal everything else was.

Ay Wey Mexican Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone who loves bold flavors, great drinks, and fantastic service. We can’t wait to come back!

Ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. Steak and chicken were chopped and mixed together, not like it usually is. Missing the guacamole and lettuce, pico, and sour cream. Called up and they were very friendly and quick to fix the order.
