Not sure what happened to this place but it is nothing like it was years ago. I was excited to be back in the area and try the restaurants i used to love. The food was bland the portion sizes were tiny. 5 flats (didn't order all flats) and 5 shrimp 0 flavor. My hushpuppies were burnt and both the baked beans and coleslaw were store bought quality. I was really disappointed.

On Monday, August 26, 2024, around 3:30 pm my sister, Mom, and I had decided to get takeout here. I haven't eaten here in years. The food was old and refried! The cocktail sauce and tartar sauce was watered down. The food tasted nasty. I live about 25 minutes away and wasn't returning. I will never eat there again!

second time eating here. The food is fresh hot and affordable. Today I went with my daughter and we got the chicken and shrimp with coleslaw and fries and hushpuppies with a cold Ice teas. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. The cashier/server is always nice. Prices are very reasonable and we will go back for sure.

The fish sometimes tastes old and freezer burnt, the shrimp has gone from popcorn shrimp to pieces of shrimp. I use to work for a local seafood company so I do know the difference. I'm writing this comment not to down the business but in an effort for improvement to occur.
