Used to be good with previous owners. Now, steak has no flavor, shrimp was fishy and beef soup was watery. The salad bar is good and extensive. Used to have bread pudding, but no longer on the menu. They have one back room that has no atmosphere. So sit in main dining room if you go. I would recommend The Butcher Table Steakhouse instead in Dunn.

This is a good steakhouse in Dunn without being too pricey. It is a little like stepping back in time, though I don't think that was their goal. Great steak, good salad bar, friendly server, and easy parking. We arrived, just when they opened for dinner and it felt like they might have a senior dinner hour. Didn't ask. Will be back if in the area.

This place has always been a staple of the local community yet I have never ate there til tonight. First of all, it was quite pricey. Our waitress was awesome as well as any employee we interacted with. The restaurant it self is rather clean and looks very nice. The lighting though is just way too much. It is very bright overall. I’d expect less light overall with more dim lighting focused on individual tables with more of a romantic setting. The food was good but definitely didn’t live up to the hype. The salad was pretty decent, probably the number one item of the night. My steak was prepared just as I ordered but left a bit to be desired. I was served broccoli and cheese with the broccoli being a little undercooked and they definitely held back on the cheese. While this place overall wasn’t what I’d expect, it is a local business. I can’t say that I won’t go back but with prices like this, it will have to be on a special occasion.

The service was not good. The waitress was not friendly. I had a salad and it was far from being good. It was my first and last time.

From the moment I got here I knew it was going to be a special experience! I was right! Excellent service. A staff that worked seamlessly together and a food quality that is nearly unmatched! I had the French onion soup, the French dip and the French fries. That French dip was the best I’ve ever had. It was quite literally carved up prime rib! Tender, flavorful and oozing with cheese! If you’re not here, and you’re in Dunn, you’re doing life wrong!

It's Me

I just moved to Dunn recently and found this gem! Totally impressed by it. The food was phenomenal. We had steak, lobster, Mahi Mahi, and the salad bar!! Glad to know there is at least one place in Dunn that isn’t fast food or greasy southern stuff. (I’m southern, so I’m not hating on those places) The prices are absolutely reasonable. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster melted in my mouth. 1000% recommend.

If I had one critique for this place, it’s that the salad bar bowl should be at least twice the size they are. You can’t really pile your salad with vegetable or mix it around with the dressing when the bowl is about an inch tall and 4ā€ inches diameter. The salad bar is what sold me on going in the first place and the bowl was about the size a 6 year old would need. The salad bar is huge with tons and tons of options, but there’s no way to actually make a salad with that size of a plate.

4 people, 1 alcoholic beverage, total with tip was $240
