Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries

Hwy 55 is everything you want in an old-school diner. The burgers are juicy, the fries are crispy, and the shakes? Next-level. It’s got that nostalgic feel, but the food is fresh and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. If you're craving comfort food done right, Hwy 55 always delivers.

It was much better tonight than right after the grand opening. We stopped going for quite awhile because it seemed to be more like other fast food restaurants where the food is made in bulk and it's under the lights. We decided to give it another shot tonight and were pleasantly surprised with the cooked to order food quality and top notch customer service.

Terrible,, the 2nd time my family of four has been there...and the teenager told us we could order to go..but could not order and stay because they were closing soon..!!!!! We were in there 25 minutes before closing... closing time being 9pm. I am so outraged that I can order to go,,, and they will cook it and take my money....but I could not order and sit down.....what kind of business are you running?????? I wish I knew how to contact corporate and let them know how paying customers are being treated..! I suggest , not going to HWY 55 Burger's in DUNN N.C.

Alil slow at times but overall great place and good food better than the last location

Four orders, to go, not one of them done correctly. They had the nerve to roll their eyes after I had to walk back in twice... seriously haha. Like, I was thebone wrong for spending $15 on a meal and expecting it to be correct.

Ordered take out through the drive through. Didn't realize until we got home that we were missing items and had 1 wrong item. Went back and they were very nice and remade the missing items. Didn't think to check the order. Got home and was still missing the chilli cheese fries.
Not worth going back at this point, I just likely won't be back.
It may help if they had their online ordering working.

Have eating here twice now. Both times the experence was great. Music wasn't overbearing, so was able to talk with husband without being loud.

Consistent, superior service every time. Every waitress we have ever had went above and beyond our expectations and are happy to be there! Food is always perfect and buns are fresh. Very child friendly and the robot is always a highlight for my daughter.

Good fast food option with a better quality than other ff burger places. They also have more variety and options that are atypical of burger shops. They also have fried, popcorn shrimp was crispy and generously portioned. The Philly style sandwiches also were generous in their meat fillings. Milkshakes/Concretes are quite good and also good a good size for the money. Only drawback was, as a milkshake with candy pieces, no spoon was provided and the straw was too small to suck them up. Wait staff was phenomenal and friendly. Eager to serve, quick with recommendations, encouraged custom orders, and checked on us frequently.
