I went in place order with a very sweet lady and while waiting I asked the young man if they had take out menus he answered no but in the most rude and snarky attitude of my husband whom is wheelchairs bound had requested fish oI would have left. I was stunned by his disrespect I was so upset when I left I vow I shall never go again

Ordered a to go order, picked it up, drove home to find out order was wrong! That's not even the worst part! The sign said they closed at 8pm and it was 7:45 when I returned with the plate and was told all vats were cut off and handed me a 5 dollar bill for the difference of what was missing on my plate! POOR service they make a mistake and the guest has to pay for it! Really? That really shows you care for your customers!

I had to update my review. Being that what I typed didn't even post ??♀️ The food is always delicious at Jim's ❤️ Like literally .. where else can you go and purchase a $14.00 plate with enough food to cover you for two days!! I always order To-Go, which is always convenient because all you have to do is pull in the front, sit in the line (if any at all, which most of the time it is) and they bring your food right out to you. The Sampler is one of my favs (heads up, it's enough to feed 2 people ?). The homemade tater sauce is definitely a signature for Jim's as well. I gave the atmosphere 2-stars only because of my 1st time ever walking inside and it was awkward for a couple of reasons but it's not majorly important if you decide to order take out...but overall, they get 5-stars from me
Vegetarian options: They have veggies. Not sure if it is cooked with any pork.
Parking: If you call and place an order, just pull in front of the restaurant. I didn't know that my first time going so hopefully this helps someone else. They will always ask what color car you will be in and that's why, they bring your food outside.

Was told they use same coating for all seafood. The fish looked nicely coated. I had fried oysters and the goating was glopped like just flour was used without blotting some of the liquid off the oysters first & has NO spices at all.

I don't even like fish or fishy tasting fish. I get the catfish everything! Never fishy catfish. I've tasted my husband's mauimaui bites, flounder, and whiting. They were good too. The food and service is consistently very good. They're packed Fridays, but you can call in and drive up to front of store and they will bring it out to you. People come from all around to eat the fresh food.
It's not fancy, but it is good and affordable.
