We came here with friends and left seriously impressed. The chicken sandwich was the standout — better than Chick-fil-A, no question. Hot, crispy, juicy, and full of flavor.
The onion rings and fries were fresh and perfectly crispy — not greasy, just really well done. We also shared a few burgers and a hot dog, and everything was solid. Great ingredients, cooked right, and clearly made with care.
The vibe was relaxed, the service was friendly, and it was just a great place to enjoy a meal with good people.

I visited today for the first time after hearing about this place.. Atmosphere was okay and the service was pretty decent, but the burgers were served with wet buns that dissolved into the burger with way too much ingredients piled up in the sandwich burger.. I felt like I was in the episode of Boondocks when Grandad opens up his own restaurant and gives the whole town the Itis.. The Men’s bathroom smells like a sewer line busted with sewage smell all through the rear of the restaurant by the bathrooms that almost made me vomit.. I saw a Caucasian couple eating near the bathroom and I couldn’t believe they could eat that close to the bathroom with that smell ravishing the whole rear of the restaurant!! I actually looked to see if I had sharted in my clothes that smell had me sick and confused I felt like I was in a chemical attack in Iraq.. I spoke to the owner about this and politely finished my meal with my family and left.. I probably will not come back again until I hear they’ve fixed the sewage problem which is more than likely never.. Other than that it’s an okay place like any other burger joint not really anything special or different from most burger joints.. I apologize if my review of my experience offends anyone, but I truly gave an honest review to help this business thrive and get better for the sake of the community who benefit from having different food choices in the bland area of Dunn. So it has great potential, but needs improvement..

So let me start off by saying the food wasn’t the problem. And was actually really good! But I will not be going back and here’s why. I placed an order at 6:07 for to go. A chicken salad, a burger, and fries. That’s it. It took just over 40 minutes to complete the order. The super sweet young lady upfront couldn’t give me any real time estimate from the start and that was the first red flag. So I waited. At first they didn’t have two of the salad ingredients but the owner/manager ran to food lion next door and picked it up, I can respect that. How ever when my order was finally completed they didn’t have ranch for the salad, so I asked for honey mustard and received two regular mustards, ceasar dressing? and the saddest bit of ranch, so at that point I am truly not a happy customer. Lastly the employees had such a poor attitude just moping around with no sense of urgency, (other then the one cook who’s clearly overwhelmed) very poor attitudes, fed up and clearly would rather be anywhere else you could see it on their faces. And there seemed to be no real system to anything, zero organization, just chaotic for no reason because they weren’t even busy, there was literally 3 tables and a couple to go orders. So much potential and even more room for improvement hopefully they get it together because again the food was not the problem.

Come on man what else can I say is grill food made by Black people like what else do I need to say?🤣🤣 that damn roof dog with the macaroni and cheese with a touch of barbecue sauce on top of a hotdog oh my God that don’t make no sense mama Ruth no she showed it off when she did that and we’re not even gonna talk about the ruth burger that joint right there make you slap a deacon and the guy that always got a fresh hat on his head. The most humble guy I ever met on earth. But I guarantee you if you rub him the wrong way you’re gonna see God’s wrath times five cause he Way too damn nice so I know he’s a cuckoo clock🤣🤣🤣 but they have beautiful atmosphere beautiful women, strong men that take charge get stuff done in a timely fashion. I mean it’s just a all-around down home feel every time you look at anybody in there you just feel the love that good old great grandparents love🏆

All 5 stars. Even though I only been twice, i see myself going back in the future. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger (both times), and it was great. Full of flavor and juicy.

Honestly the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. So crispy and fresh. I got it with garlic parm sauce and pickles. The chili cheese fries were also spot on. My only gripe was no music playing. Other than that minute detail, everything was great.
