Smithfield is all around simply the best of the best... barbecue & chicken + delicious desert. Especially served with a smile, thank you so much, Jessica, for excellent customer service. I'll plan another visit soon.

I had like 15 French fries and hardley know shrimp, But enough cold slow to feed 3 people and hush puppies were burned. Bad 👎 for fourteen dollars.😡

We ordered the catering for 20 guests. The employees were very nice and helpful. They packed everything we needed and the food was great. Thank you.

Smithfield's food and service is consistent if nothing else.
You get the same quality and quantity every single time; good to very good.
You may or may not get a smile from the counter person. Too pricy but isn't everything?
Facilities are always up to date and clean.
They always have enough staff (how is that possible in 2024?). They WILL come by and check on your drink level and scrap take-aways.

I have always liked Smithfield BBQ, but, they have changed the breading on the fried chicken and for me it is way to much breading, to thick. You have to peel the breading back to find the chicken. Please go back to the original breading.

Smithfields was great!! The BBQ lacked sauce.. but it was still good. I loved the fried chicken and fries. You also have to order the sweet tea. Marcus(the assistant manager) was great at helping take care of us. Next time I am in NC I will come back just because of him. He truly exemplified great customer service. That means a lot.
