My husband is an amputee in a wheelchair so we always call ahead to see if a place is wheelchair accessible. We were told this place was so we headed that way for breakfast. When we arrived, the handicapped parking was way around on the side by a road with heavy dump truck traffic. There was no ramp area that was accessible so he rode down the sidewalk a fair piece before getting to the door that said Closed on Sunday for Jesus. We went inside and there were no handicap accessible tables, just booths so my husband has to sit at the end half blocking the walkway through the restaurant. The waitress brought us two coffees and menus. We both found something we wanted to eat but the omelettes came with toast and grits. My dental work doesn't do well with grits and dry toast crumbs so I asked if I could skip the grits and toast for a waffle or even half a waffle instead. Instead of saying yes, or that would be a slight upcharge, the waitress looked like I had asked her for the Hope Diamond. "NO! NO SUBSTITUTIONS" We said we needed another look at the menu. None of the pancake or waffle items came with eggs, so I decided not to order anything. My sweet, patient husband flagged down a different waitress and asked to speak with the manager. I told him no, let's just get back on the road and look for better service elsewhere. We paid for our coffees and left. Now, I'm a fair to middling cook and know it is more difficult and more expensive to make toast and grits than it is to lob a ladle of waffle batter into the waffle maker. And I also am Christian enough to know that that any restaurant closed on Sunday for our Lord Jesus should know to follow Hebrews 13:2"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." Heaven forbid Jesus would want to substitute a waffle for the grits and toast.

If you're looking for a good breakfast. I would not recommend this place. We ordered the Bacon and cheese omelet and it was made with velveeta cheese. The hash browns were served mooshy. The service was great the waitress was very kind and attentive but I will not be coming back.

I've been eating here since I was a little girl. Took my fiancee for a quick breakfast date. Server of course had the best southern hospitality, coffee was fresh and food was served within minutes of ordering. I got my favorite pecan waffle with sausage ?Parking: Parking lot fills pretty fast especially on weekends.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and they have high chairs.

For it to be counted and coined a Waffle restaurant persay, I wasn't too impressed. The premise is a bit off.... I mean the breakfast specials could have included the waffles instead of the pancakes ?. The service wasn't exactly friendly ? and I was rushed to choose a meal and got things I didn't want and ask for. Therefore my ticket was a bit pricey for the meal. 7$ for a Waffle by itself is a bit much especially if I must order a whole meal separately. The taste was more of a complete mix instead of a true gourmet recipe like you get at Waffle House. The strawberry ? and pecan waffles did look good ? however. Overall I won't recommend it and probably won't come back.
