Yamato Japanese House of Steak

I've been coming to this spot for years now and I've always enjoyed my meal. Their lunch menu prices are really good compared to the dinner menu, and the food portions are always great. Their sushi is pretty good too, I've had a great experience with every roll type I've ordered. Recently I got the hibachi steak and the hibachi chick entrees for lunch, and it was just as good as ever. If you're looking for tasty Japanese food, this is the spot to hit.

My family loves this place.
Unfortunately I can't eat anything there. It doesn't agree with me. I have tried many times.

We have been told that they have the best sushi around the area and decided to try some. Sushi made fresh to order and might I add their surf and turf sushi roll is amazing. We will come to the restaurant more often! The woman at the front taking orders was super friendly and knowledgeable about all our questions.

My husband and i and the family went to eat there. Our meal was horrible. The chicken was rock hard and dry. The steak was over cooked. The food was cold. My husband told them and nothing was done. We paid 130 with tip. We will not be going back..

Came for the sushi and was not disappointed. We ordered bento boxes, dynamite roll and the sushi deluxe. The waitress was super knowledgeable. Will come back.

They had nobody else in the whole restaurant and my food still was not ready at the pick up time it took them over an hour.

Then went I went to pay I was up charged several dollars for a few small pieces of broccoli. He told me I can only get zucchini and onion as double vegetable if I want carrot and broccoli instead theres a several dollar upcharge.

The food is not good enough to come back.
For $3 I can buy an entire bag of broccoli and tell the manager he can shove it where the sun doesn’t shine

Waited 25 minutes to be treated at our table, after having to get our own high chair for our baby. Seemed like we were being ignored. 2 other tables were greated with the best service.

Yamato's is where it's at. My husband and I come here at least 3 times a month. Our go to is mainly sushi. Excellent portion and price for sushi. Hibachi and katsu chicken is also really excellent! Service is slow especially on weekends and if they are hosting a event. Sometimes it can take up to 10 mins to get a refill or a check up. Still recommend.

Looks funny from the outside but it’s great once you go in. The sushi and food was SO good and well priced! We LOVE this place!
