Stopped in one day to grab pecan pie for a friend new to the area. This is her FAVORITE BAKERY & DESSERT. I met the "Mister" of the business and by far the most friendly, genuine person I've ever met. No pecan pie at that moment but plenty of tarts & THE BEST BREAD on Earth. My friend? Said the tarts were superior to old fave...she was overjoyed to have them to share with visiting family from back home. Their secret ingredient is obviously love....for what they do, for each other and their community. Prices right, everything I've tasted is absolutely scratch made. THIS is what I've been longing for for years.

The gentleman greeted me as I walked in with open arms to join him at the counter where his sweets were layed out. He wasted no time in getting to know me as his questions when answered would be of value to him in eagerly waiting your next visit. Greeting other customers by name as they entered behind me, he continued to get to know me and gave me a feeling that this man stands before me to put smiles on faces not only as a passionate baker, but as a person who deeply appreciates his customers. Brownies and pies in different shapes and sizes through his display. Not a huge selection, though not one where you would leave empty handed. I got 3 oatmeal cream pies prized by people seemingly around the world to be an 11/10 experience from what I've read. The gentleman asked if my son who hadn't come in with me would like a cookie and handed me a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. A side note there really isn't any seating other than a single table and chair occupied by a clear friend of the baker and at this point I felt to be a friend as well to the genuine man behind the counter. I walked out as he thanked me and hoped I'd come again. The store hours are very limited and it was only open from 10am-1pm Wednesday to Saturday. Worth it? Yes, the chocolate chip cookie I couldn't tell you as my son wouldn't give more than a head nod in it being really good. The oatmeal cream pie had elements of creamy, crunchy and packed with flavor from the cookie and filling. 11/10 an understandable rating and you shouldn't walk, run to this location if you are in the area or anywhere near. Elree's Sweet Shoppe will be seeing me again very soon!

Best cake I’ve had in years! 10/10 without a doubt. Everything was perfectly made and I can’t forget about the homemade bread! Absolutely incredible!

Elree's is the best tasting cakes around!! Old fashion icing too. You don't have to spend so much money on a cake! The other local bakeries arr way too expensive and they are made from box mix!
