We loved this little hole-in-wall family owned and operated restaurant. Delicious southern home cooking with fresh homemade recipes. Doesn't look like much from the outside. But, the inside will capture the clean, well maintained seating area. Highly recommend.

The foods pretty good. The atmosphere, you feel like your back in the 60s when you walk in and if that doesn't take you back. When you go to pay they don't accept cards! SO GO WITH CASH or you'll have a problem. This rating is in 2024

Absolutely wonderful little restaurant. It's the type of little family diner that is so hard to find today. The food is good. The staff is fast, friendly and know what they're doing. The prices are good too. I'll be eating there every chance I get. They don't take cards. Swing by an ATM if you must, and stop in.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options, but enough. I've only had salads, fries, hushpuppies and the best sweet tea around. They put pork in their beans, so the hot veggies are a bit limited.

I haven’t been coming to Railway for too long. Only a few weeks, but I do consider myself somewhat a regular now. The food is top notch, decently priced, which is something can’t say about most establishments these days, the atmosphere which is very calm and very welcoming, but the one thing that stands out above all is the loyalty and of the employees who are some of most hard working and determined people you’ll ever meet, but one employee who hasn’t been working there for too long, has risen to the occasion and that mans name is Davis Scott. In all my years, I have never seen someone so eager to learn, give recommendations, and makes sure every customer is satisfied, so next time you’re at Railway, ask Davis Scott to serve you and you won’t leave disappointed.

Poor Service from Waitresses, especially Tina. The one who comes to work drinking alcohol. Edith, our waitress, was very RUDE!!! The eggs suked, bacon wasn't cooked well. They act like Everyone loves grape jelly. One minute they are out of Apples, then they reappear!! They need BETTER WAITRESSES at Railroad Cafe.
