This was our first visit here since under new owners. They've painted & freshened up the interior, making it brighter & more inviting while still maintaining the old-fashioned soda shop feel. The service was great; our waitress was friendly, & our meals arrived quickly. The food was wonderful, and the portions very generous. Had lunch here and was pleased with the service and the food. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, and although it wasn't like the traditional fried version, it was still good. The prices seemed fairly comparable to the other restaurants in the area.

Finally have a designated breakfast spot I can go and get great coffee and inexpensive breakfast right down the road. Food is kick*ss and the people working there are what make the experience worth it. I hope jeannes cafe sticks around for years to come- its going to be my usual breakfast spot.
