I ordered a chocolate raspberry cheesecake for my daughters 30 th birthday I have to say it was the most amazing cheesecake I have ever had everyone was in love with the cake my daughter was so happy you can tell Jeanne makes her stuff with love I highly recommend you check her out
Finally have a designated breakfast spot I can go and get great coffee and inexpensive breakfast right down the road. Food is kick*ss and the people working there are what make the experience worth it. I hope jeannes cafe sticks around for years to come- its going to be my usual breakfast spot.

This was our first visit here since under new owners. They've painted & freshened up the interior, making it brighter & more inviting while still maintaining the old-fashioned soda shop feel. The service was great; our waitress was friendly, & our meals arrived quickly. The food was wonderful, and the portions very generous. Their prices seemed reasonable and comparable, but honestly, I just don't eat out much. If you have a sweet tooth, they also have fresh goodies available for takeout. The restaurant "fits in" nicely with the small town atmosphere Edenton is known for.

Delicious, fresh, home-made options for breakfast and lunch.
Had lunch here and was pleased with the service and the food. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, and although it wasn't like the traditional fried version, it was still good. The prices seemed fairly comparable to the other restaurants in the area.

Old fashion diner with lots of choices. Very friendly staff and excellent home cooking. The best food we found in Edenton.

Had the BLT, very good with lots of bacon. Fries were deliciously crispy! Quiche was my first choice but was not available when I was there. Newly recorded, very pretty inside.

Stopped in for breakfast for the first time today. Had an omelette, home fries, and biscuit and gravy. Everything was made fresh and from scratch. Biscuits were light and fluffy and tasted amazing. Easily the best breakfast I have had in the area and I will definitely be back.

Service friendly, they were a little busy (Sunday mid-morning) but we weren't in a rush. Plenty of checks on coffee refill. Omelette was tasty, but the Orange Pecan French Toast made my fork 'wander' and I got the Wife's glare in response. Would definitely plan another stop just to test the Lunch menu.

Local diner, amazing breakfast, the service on Sundays comes in handy since hardly any other place is open for breakfast except fast food. Will definitely come back!

I don’t know what these people mean by bland and overpriced! My food was delicious and no more expensive than any other grill of that sort! Try the Monti Cristo! It’s huge and well worth the money!
