Best bbq we have ever had. Stopped in on a Thursday around 2 pm. Clean restaurant and friendly service. We got a 2 meat platter which we chose pork bbq, brisket, smokehouse beans, cucumber salad and cornbread. We got it to go and split it. If would have dined in we would have ordered another platter as each bite we took was better than the last. Absolutely will be a regular stop ever time we pass by now.

Was introduced to this resturant today for lunch. He said we needed to get there early and he was right. Arrived at 11:30 am and the line was out the door. I got the burnt ends with 2 sides but could have easily gone for any of the meats offered. Amazing food that Ill tell my friends about. No cons except kinda close quarters and getting drinks was eventful. Ill go back for sure. I want a Twinkie!

I can't say enough about this team of workers that create such an awesome experience. The food is excellent...from all the meats, scratch made sides and desserts, all the way to the design of the building and the efficiency of the staff. Absolutely the best !! If you see a long line, don't fear-they will get you through in no time at all. And every bite you take is WELL worth any wait you may have experienced. If you are coming to the Outer Banks of NC, be sure and stop in Edenton for the best meal of your vacation. You'll be stopping on the way back home, I guarantee it!

Excellent eats, the Sampler Platter was a great introduction! When we go back we will definitely get ribs and sausage, everything was good but those were our faves!

First time coming here. If you are visiting on the weekend, get here early to avoid food being sold out. We wanted to try the Carolina Twinkie, bbq, and loaded potato salad but were out of all three. Instead we got bbq chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread. All was delicious, chicken was my fave… except that hersheys chocolate cake!!! Definitely recommend.

Drove 2 hours to get the advertised specials. They opened at 11 and sold out by 1115. Bad planning on thier part. I can understand selling out of some but all the specials in 15 minutes... Felt like it was a bait and switch just to get people in. What food I did get was good... but could have gotten just as good in Raleigh...
