I ate here today for the first time and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, customer service, and food were all excellent. After checking out, I was struggling to get all of my kids and the food to a table.. multiple staff members immediately jumped in to help carry food and push the stroller. Everyone was so kind and the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend. 🙂

We drove from EC and tried this place for the first time. We had been living here for 5 years and just couldn't find the right BBQ place. This place is IT! Ordered ahead the night before and drove the 30 mins to get it. Pulled right into the drive thru and was in and out in no time. Piled right into the food once we got home. We got two 3 meat trays and a pulled pork sandwich basket with fries. It's gone. All of it. So full and SO satisfied. The smokiness of everything was perfect!! Food was so fresh. Cornbread was amazingly moist and delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Try the best bbq in eastern North Carolina. Briskets are YumO. Bbq beans, a special Twinkie ( a rolled sausage w jalapeño and cheddar fill) are a must. home cooking at its best !!
We saw the restaurant on North Carolina weekend on PBS. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had smoked pulled chicken on her salad. They have the word "smoked" in their name and on the menu for their meats. None of our meats had any smokiness to it what so ever. Very disappointing! The patio tables were not cleaned. Thus, service was also disappointing. Won't visit this restaurant again!

Excellent food! I had the chopped BBQ and slaw! Really good BBQ and I suggest tasting it before you put any sauce on it as the meat is seasoned perfectly,
