Man, listen. This has been a hidden gem for sure. I had no idea they were tucked back there in the cut of Edenton. I found them randomly by doin a search for a good milkshake near me and boy, did it I find it. It is an absolutely beautiful establishment in a beautiful and serene location. Been going here for decades. Last few times were great. Got my classic ?, chili, mustard, onions. Fantastic.Service is friendly and maybe not as fast as some others, but she is making them to order, and the orders are right. Of course I'll be back.
The food was very good!My husband had fried chicken and we were amazed that they cook it to order so they chicken hadn't been setting under no heat light it was fresh and my husband said it was really good. I ordered the cheeseburger and the meat definitely was not a frozen patty. We will be going back for that fresh home-cooked meal. The staff was pleasant and acted like they were family.
