Went for lunch and got seated promptly. However, what was disappointing was we were ignored by the server for almost 15 min while we sat there and tried to grab their attention. The restaurant wasn't busy, there was no wait. The two tables that were seated immediately after us, and next to us, were promptly greeted and served drinks while we (a party of 2) were completely ignored. We just got up and left. The hostess who saw us walk out, didn't even make any effort to talk to us as she was too busy on her cell phone at the hostess stand. Horrible customer service.

Having drinks and food at the bar is better than the dining room. Nice atmosphere!

The waitress was awesome. Everything else terrible. Even gave our food to someone else, then offered us theirs. I will not be going back.

The food was creative and absolutely amazing. The fish was so fresh and beautifully prepared. The caesar salad had the traditional base but added additional flavor elements that elevated the experience. The ice cream was unique, creamy, and just yummie. I highly recommend.

My wife and I went for a dinner date and were sat down at a round table for 6, making the experience feel like we were waiting for more people. This was interesting because I made reservations online the week prior. Right away the atmosphere felt wrong. The server took a while to get to us and when I asked for a cocktail she informed me that they were out of the central ingredient for it. From there on out the service was spotty and other tables seemed to get service and orders way faster than us. When asked about the special we were informed there wasn’t one, so we ordered appetizers and entrees.

Crab cakes: little to no flavor, consistency was good. $15

Seared scallop: it came with a comically large amount of corn, but the scallops were cooked perfectly. $market price

Pepper encrusted NY steak, Oskar style: good amount of crab meat, but the steak itself lacked flavor. $37 plus $15 “enhancement”

Peanut butter cake: way, way too sweet. $14

Finally, the price. We would’ve been more than willing to pay what they asked if the experience and food was correct, but it wasn’t. It was a sad let down because we had hoped to make it our next go-to place.

When we booked we did so because we wanted a more upscale meal while visiting Edenton. I typically rely on reviews such as this to make my decision but this time did not as the restaurant options were so limited

The ambiance was exciting; really beautiful architecture, very cool history, lively bar crowd and several people seated outside in chairs drinking wine socializing..

Just one other table seated for dinner inside on a Saturday around 5pm.

The menu was presented and I found it limited and, quite frankly, not overly appealing.

We were over an hour away from home and hungry so my husband selected one dish, hesitantly, me the same with a different dish.

When mine came, it had virtually raw Black Eyed Peas in it. I asked for it to be cooked
more and it came out a second time -warmer -but still not cooked through. For a close to $30 meal it should be correct the first time, let alone the second. This “threw off” the dish in a big way since it’s all incorporated

My husband ordered the $36 wahoo fish - fish was executed properly but vegetables could have been cooked longer also as they were raw but warm.

Our waitress was very kind, apologized and tried her hardest.

Overall, the portion sizes were small and we were underwhelmed with the flavor of the food and left disappointed

Good food but service absolutely sucks. Takes forever to get any food or drink refills.

They just need to add Bacon to the Menu. Other than that it's perfect!

We really enjoyed our meal! Charcuterie and bread board to start. Steak and pizzas for main. Desserts were to die for. Our server Krista was amazing as was our busy boy Jackson who played pretend catch with my 1 year old. Thank you!

Had dinner on the 4th of July before our river boat tour. Food was good. Not fanatic buy good. Wait staff was warm and friendly. Although service could have been a little better than what we got. I would go back

Absolutely delicious food! The chicken and waffles they have are some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve EVER had. They were soooo good! Definitely worth a try when in Edenton

The service was incredibly slow, the steaks were over cooked and were sent back twice and they still weren’t correct! Definitely not worth the price we were charged!! There was no apology or offer to make adjustments to our bill! Very disappointing!!!!!
