Came in for a drink for the first time while visiting Edenton, my hometown, from Georgia. This tall drink of water, Aubrey, guided me through the menu. When I asked for a London Fog she asked if I’d ever tried a Victorian Fog. This goddess changed my world! It was exactly what I was looking for that I don’t even know I needed! Thank you for the experience and guidance.

Very nice and relaxing establishment. Excellent treat, muffins, croissants, bagels, etc. Good coffee and other caffeinnated beverages. Very courteous and helpeful staff.

A great cozy coffee house. I love the decor. There are tons of menu options for coffee and non coffee drinks. Be a sure to check out the special recipe board in the hallway!

Excellent coffee— I even finally tried the mushroom coffee which is a great caffeine-free alternative (ask which ones though— I think one of them does have caffeine). There are two coffee shops in town; I alternate to support good coffee and atmosphere. Seems to be dog-friendly.

Absolutely love this place. I've been going since they opened in Elizabeth City and I can't get enough. I'm so glad they opened a location in Edenton. Staff are always nice and I enjoy conversations with them. They also remember my order every time I come in.

This was my first time at this coffee shop and it was great! The drinks were good and so were the bakery items! The service was also amazing and the girl behind the counter was really nice. This place is extremely welcoming! I will definitely be back!

Great coffee, if you like it strong. Go to Edenton Coffee if you like it less strong. We stopped at both places while visiting Edenton.

Wonderful and chill atmosphere here at The Kraken Coffeehouse. Ordered a dark roast and it did not disappoint. Great views of the downtown activities and sidewalk too!

My first stop for coffee this morning in Edenton. Quiet, comfortable and some really good coffee. I started with a cortado and would have stayed longer except that their wifi was too slow for me to work from here. So after the coffee was done, I headed up the street.

If you're just looking for coffee and pastries, this is a great little spot. If you're looking to hang out for an hour or two and enjoy some caffeine while surfing the internet, this might not be it.

Loved the salted caramel iced coffee. Also loved that I could order and pay online. A quick drive into town and my order was ready with my name on it. I also ordered an apple cinnamon muffin, which was a little dry on the outside. Not worth the $3.48 for that smallish muffin. Highly recommend the coffee, though!
