No wonder the locals love this place! In town for a work assignment and had to try it out. Charming atmosphere and great food. Those grouper tacos and the dressing are excellent. Had to take the crème brûlée cheesecake home but it was delicious. Portions are very satisfying. Will be back.

My tuna steak was overdone and dry. I ordered it medium and it was more like well done. It was supposed to be spicy, it wasn't. The mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless. Coldslaw was acceptable. Best part was the extra day Martin very good. Wait staff was excellent and very attentive to your needs. Don't think I would visit there again, but of course go and judge for yourself. 👎

Server was good and sides were good...breading coming off fish..not alot of taste...restaurant needs cleaning as far as dirty windowsills
Hostess was friendly but did not escort us to our table, merely pointed to choices. My wife ordered the shrimp with butter and she ordered it with a crown of broccoli? Not sure I understand that as a side. It counted as 2 sides. She had to cut it up. I ordered the fried scallops. I added coleslaw and baked potato. Coleslaw was minced (not my fave) and baked potatoes was served with packets of butter and sour cream. Hardly upscale. Decors was dingy. Dirty carpet upstairs, dirty AC vents, dust on decorations. Some easy fixes. Escort me to my table. Make a comment about my clothes, jewelry, shoes, where am I from etc as an ice breaker. Rip up the carpet upstairs. Put some white paint on the walls to brighten up the space. Serve my sides and small ramekins instead of foil top packets. Hush puppies were undercooked. Looks like they had more flour in them than cornmeal. Thanks

Grow It, Pick It, Jam It *
Had a great family dinner this week. Kelsey was our waitress and she was wonderful! She took very good care of us and we will ask for her every time. There was seven of us and we all had something different for dinner. Everyone had nothing but good responses about their food. I personally had the crab cakes, they definitely we homemade as they were huge and hand patted,I also got the corn pudding which is always a winner in my book! I ordered two crab cakes and well it seems my eyes were bigger than my belly and had to take the second one home, my hubby ate that for his breakfast the next day. And he enjoyed it Only thing I didn’t like was the brass handrail heading up the stairs was super loose and while it didn’t cause a big issue for me ,it may cause someone older to trip or fall.
Side note, I had dinner with my friend for our birthdays the last week in May and Shrimp and Grits was on the special board. If you happen to get lucky and it’s on the specials board, get it ! It was fabulous!!

Quality did not match the price. It did taste good but the quality of the super combo was lacking. Of course they are dependent on their supplier. We also ordered the crab bites I would definitely recommend them. I would ask not to sit in the bar area if you want a relaxing meal. The bar area is very nice for a bar but not for relaxing meal. We did have cocktails too they were mixed well. Over all it was above average.

My boss took me here for the first time and it was amazing. I ordered a BLT with french fries and a sweet tea. The service was on point, no wait, and when I say it was absolutely beautiful inside words can't do it justice. From what I have heard this place is so popular that they usually have to wait to be seated. But we must have gotten there at the right time. There's nothing negative I can say the pricing on the menu was decent, the food tasted lovely, and the whole experience left me wanting to come back again and again. Lol. So hopefully this review helps. Great place to eat with great customer service.
