No wonder the locals love this place! In town for a work assignment and had to try it out. Charming atmosphere and great food. Those grouper tacos and the dressing are excellent. Had to take the crème brûlée cheesecake home but it was delicious. Portions are very satisfying. Will be back.
My tuna steak was overdone and dry. I ordered it medium and it was more like well done. It was supposed to be spicy, it wasn't. The mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless. Coldslaw was acceptable. Best part was the extra day Martin very good. Wait staff was excellent and very attentive to your needs. Don't think I would visit there again, but of course go and judge for yourself. 👎
Hostess was friendly but did not escort us to our table, merely pointed to choices. My wife ordered the shrimp with butter and she ordered it with a crown of broccoli? Not sure I understand that as a side. It counted as 2 sides. She had to cut it up. I ordered the fried scallops. I added coleslaw and baked potato. Coleslaw was minced (not my fave) and baked potatoes was served with packets of butter and sour cream. Hardly upscale.
