The food is very expensive and not very good and not very much in quantity either. The owner choose to start slamming closed foldable chairs right next to me while I was trying to enjoy my birthday desert too. Not sure how they stay in business when they overcharge everyday people providing not a very good meal for a very high price.

First time trying this place. Ordered a Philly cheese steak combo and it wasn't made how we wanted it wasn't much meat on it at all, no onions or peppers or mayo. It's a very small sub. The fries were missing for the combo. Fry portion is small. Drove back to get the order corrected. They were very polite about it. Just wansnt what we expected for the prices.

The service was great! Friendly staff with great suggestions. The sandwich though was mostly bread and not even good bread, very dry. I got a Black Forest ham sandwich and it only had two very thin slices of ham. The French fries though were AMAZING.

Stopped by yesterday while in the area after it was recommended by Barefoot Brew on Broad Street. The coffee shop has never let me down, so I decided to check it out. The service was exceptional, very friendly staff and extremely conversational at the register. The food came out quickly and was “made with love.” I ordered a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and mayo, which was delicious, and I would even compare it to Melvin’s. The okra was good too, but the stars of the show were the crispy fries. They are wide, but thinly cut, so you get a perfect crisp on the outside with a soft and fluffy inside. The Barefoots really care about their customers. Bottomless fountain drinks, the owner walking around and chatting with customers, the customer service was exceptional. Also, not sure why nobody talks about this, but the walls are covered with little pieces of Bladen county history. Very fun to read while you wait on your food. Overall, this place checks off all the boxes. Friendly staff, exceptional customer service, fun atmosphere, and delicious food. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family!
