DO NOT BOOK A WEDDING HERE!!! They over promise and completely under deliver on most wedding details including not having a cake!!! No program as promised even after given written info to be printed on programs. No special seating for deceased family members of the bride and groom as promised. Completely unprofessional. Derrick is rude and doesn't have a passion for the industry he portrays to care about. Great facility but terribly ran. Workers did nothing but speak about how tired they were. Find another venue for your wedding.

Had a great over night stay and dinner

We only got appetizers but they were delicious, the atmosphere was very laid back and cool. Loved all the animals, they look well cared for and loved. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Will defidently be coming back to this establishment and recommending it to others, truly is a hidden gem💕

Girls trip fun!!

They overpriced us for our wedding and asked for director to call us several times no contact was made had a horrible bill and before authorization ran my credit card to pay a bill after I asked to speak with owners was not given that neither to get a explanation was Told Derrick Rice we could only email him or his assistant so now I'm letting everyone on my social media platforms of this we've have pictures and videos of how low grade it looked

I had to venture home to Bladen County for a funeral, and the staff here took such great care of me! One of the servers walked me to my room and had the kitchen make me food towards the end of closing I’m currently sitting on the back porch with 3 beautiful cats.

While earlier tonight and tomorrow will be difficult, I’m loving this experience. Thank you Cape Fear Vineyard.

What a terrific place! We stopped in coming from Maine. Katie was so friendly, hospitable and professional. We will definitely tell others about this hidden treasure. Thank you and will be returning again. The Furey's

Very interesting decor. Fun to see the animals. Great food in the restaurant. Never stayed in the cottages but they are new and along the lake.

This weekend we stayed at two different cottages, which were the angel and the safari. The booking was done over the phone, which was OK. The prize was a little bit higher than what was advertised online.
The room themselves were pretty good. I like the angel better because it had two queen beds instead of just one king. The cleanliness of the rooms were pretty good.
The ambience and quietness of the area made it feel very warm and homey.
We hope to go back one day without having to be too much in a rush to be able to enjoy everything it has to offer.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT TRY the breakfast buffet. Overpriced with no flavor, I had to learn this the hard way.

We had a party of 10 and everything was wonderful! Witnessing in the animals, visiting the gift shop, trying the various rums and enjoying dinner! Beautiful roses! We will definitely be back! Our server, I think Haley was amazing! Thank you for the hospitality and the setting is a beautiful place! So much fun to be had by everyone!

For 160 a night, I was not impressed. After eating at the over priced restaurant, I wanted to bring my left overs to eat later. The leftovers where in Styrofoam so I could not put them in the microwave. There were no silverware nor paper plates to eat from. There were no tables to put anything on inside or outside. The animals looked miserable especially the kangaroo. There was water for the animals to cool off in. Just dirt. The dinner was much better. I had eaten the breakfast buffet and the eggs were cold and I had gotten grits also. So dinner I ordered shrimp and grits and the grits tasted just like the same as breakfast. The appearance of this shrimp and grits was not appealing at all for 30 dollars. My overall stars is a 2.

My daughter recently had her wedding at the winery. Everything was beautiful from the setting, to the cottages, to the reception venue. What a lovely place! I highly recommend for an event or just a weekend getaway.
