Had the pleasure of trying out Cindy's restaurant today. Down home country food with many options to choose from. Food was amazing, restaurant was clean and a very kind service staff. Definitely will be returning.

Plate comes with protein, starch, 2 sides, roll, drink. 27$ for two of us. Lots of food , plenty of choices. Fried chicken was great, pork chop a little overcooked. Field peas and broccoli casserole were great.

The food here is good enough but the service is questionable. Every time I've been in here to pick up a To-go order it's the same thing. No one greets me, I'm ignored for a couple of minutes standing at the register with my to-go order sitting on the counter behind a woman that finally says," I don't know what you got so I can't ring you up." So I wait a few more minutes for someone to wander out of the back and tell the woman what I got. You'd think they could attach the order ticket to the bag or she could get off her stool and go find out, or just ask me what I ordered? Guess not. The last time I was in there I was waiting for them to finish my order and whoever was making it stopped what they were doing to walk out into the dining area and hug someone that had just came in, have a conversation with them for a minute or two before going back to close up my to-go plates. It's kind of ridiculous. I think they are trying to tell me they do not want my business.
Also if a drink comes with your meal they should offer more than just sweet tea, sweet lemonade, or a mix of sweet tea and lemonade. I don't drink sugar so a drink coming with my lunch plate is a waste. They could at least have unsweetened tea.
On the positive side they do have the best fried fish in town. The fried chicken and pork chops are good too.

Hands down best place to eat in E-town so far for home cooking. Ribs, cabbage, Mac n chz, mashed potatoes, corn bread, EVEN the lemonade- all 10/10, I deff will be back!! Even though they’re busy, they are quick and friendly! Thanks ladies for an amazing lunch and a GREAT deal ☺️

Wow just WOW. Out for a ride and wanted to get lunch. Saw this place on maps and decided to investigate. Well from the moment we walked in the atmosphere was wonderful. Staff was friendly and kidding with patrons and such. We ordered and sat down to eat. From.the first bite we were hooked. The liver and gravy was OMG and the fried pork chops were not far behind. The servers checked on us several times. Food was great and we will definitely be back. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. Check the times and menu as they change daily and they are only open maybe 4 days out of the week. But this is a locals secret spot for sure. You gotta try Cindy's.
