This is best place for chicken wings. Really good, and their chicken on a stick is good. After work, it’s an easy decision to call in an order for quick dinner. Orange chicken with plain lo mein, rib tips with fries are really good, and have order the fried shrimp and is a good size shrimp and very tasty!

The food from Number One Chinese is fabulous! Always piping hot, super fresh and loads of food. The dinners are definitely enough for two.

The pork fried rice tasted old and flavorless, the general Taos chickens has a soup of sauce, way too much, and it wasn’t spicy and tasted awful. I got the lunch special but was charged normaly and did not get N egg roll which I was supposed too. I’ve never had a bad experience at any fast food Asian place, but this place is awful

First time here. Place looks like they configured it for the start of Covid and never removed any of the protections. No in house dining.I got the #21 Spicy Garlic Shrimp with fried rice and egg roll. Shrimp was not very spicy. It was almost too sweet. The fried rice seemed to be out of a box rather than real fried rice. They were edible, but not great. Egg roll seemed to be just cabbage inside. Pretty bland for me. Not sure I would go again.

The food is decently good, but the customer service is what brings me back. They are always so welcoming! We usually eat pretty healthy, but my kids love this as a fun dinner meal.

No. 1 Chinese is really good, however I won’t be back until they re-open the buffet. I was getting take out during the fake pandemic, but have quit that. I live close by, but will not be coming back until it goes back to normal. I used to eat here regularly but not anymore.

Food was horrible. Absolutely tasteless. They used to have good food but since 2020 they have really gone downhill. Won't get my business again.

Take out is the only option now. It had been since the buffet was still an option that I’d eaten at No. 1. I decided to try it out again. The chicken wings were hot, crispy, and good. The egg roll was hot and crispy, but super bland. It was nothing but cabbage. No pork, no carrots, no celery, just cabbage. The General Tso’s was just okay at best. Not super crispy and the sauce was really sour. If you’re in a pinch for take out, it’ll work. That said, I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. It’s just okay.

Food is good, but egg rolls are always cold and are not crispy at all. Bathroom is always dirty.

This establishment has been my go-to for over seven years now. I've always loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere.I don't blame them for having to cost-cut where they could, given what the world has gone through over the last year. The food is not the same. It's just not. The lo mein lacks any depth. The wonton soup tastes so homogenized that I could barely distinguish the broth from the meat product within the wonton noodle!I've learned a bit about preparing take-out style Chinese over the last few years, you folks were my source of inspiration! I even bothered to learn how to make wonton wrappers from scratch manually!I can say with absolute confidence that I KNOW they can do a better job. They used be much, much better. The worst part of this? Still the best take-out between the two slop shops in town. Probably all of Bladen And Robeson county.Learn to make your own fried rice, people! It's surprisingly very simple to make........ Edited Feb 23, 2022....I decided to give the place another shot. My mistake. Should've gone to the one by Walmart. Service was poor, as usual. The price, over priced. as usual. The quality, somehow even more subpar than ever before. The vegetable lo mein was so bland I whipped together my own sauce using: low sodium soy, green onion, white pepper, garlic, oystersauce, and sesame oil. It improved the flavor quite a bit.The food cost too much for what it is. If you want some lo mein, buy some Number 10 noodles from a Walmart Supercenter and watch a YouTube video. I promise you will be able to make something far better than this dreadful food.Plus, apparently they don't wash their nappa cabbage prior to cooking since a reviewer posted pictures of their noodles with FRIED STINK BUGS in it.I only hope a new asian take out joint comes into town. This place has gotten complacent with subpar trash and their customers deserve better.
