When my husband and I are in town we usually have breakfast here before heading back to GA. Today I had grits, cheese omelet, hash Brown's, toast and orange juice. On the menu it showed that it was a meal. My husband had ham, eggs, and hash Brown's. When we went to the counter our bill was almost $32. So I asked to see our receipt. We were charged for each item individually. We will NEVER eat here again. Over priced and not worth the money spent.

We first tried to call in an order to be picked up. That was a mess because they could not understand. So, my husband went to the restaurant with a handwritten note of what we wanted and how we wanted it cooked. WRONG!! The French toast was not thoroughly cooked (soggy-yuck) and both orders were asked for CRISPY bacon and that didn't happen. My husband said his food was lousy (pancakes, eggs, bacon). We Will NOT be returning here!! BEWARE!!!

Great breakfast at the corner cafe. Eggs, pancakes, smoked sausage, and the sandwiches - all yummy to start the day. The service was great too, so personable and friendly. Thank you!

What a find in a small town on our travels in North Carolina. This spot is for real. We LOVE diner food and this was one of the best meals we have had along the road since 2011. Our server was genuine and gave us everything we needed. The food was excellent, hot and fresh and they knew how to make HOT tea. That is a rarity. Prices were just right and the atmosphere was too. If we lived nearby at all, we'd be regulars here for sure. A definite go to if you ask us.

If I rated this restaurant on the waitresses it would be higher however we stopped at lunch and got the Chicken Alfredo which smelled delicious but was so salty we could not eat it. The side salad was great as well as the sweet tea.

The only issue I have is that paper plates are used. Staff was friendly and my pancakes were awesome.

My family and I came here one morning while on a mini vacation. The service was excellent and very prompt and attentive. The food was great. We had French toast, they devoured it. The grits were excellent. The steak omelette was full of meat and veggies. Everything was awesome , good portions, and for a good price.

This place was ok. The menu was limited but it gave us breakfast and that’s what we needed. The coffee was foul. The waitress was super cute and we were grateful for her. The food was ok.

This early morning road trip is starting off just perfect. Now enjoying a small town country breakfast at its best. Sitting in window booth sipping delicious coffee while watching the town come alive. Traffic includes school buses, log trucks, big tractors headed to nearby fields, trucks carrying hogs to market, and plenty of cars obviously carrying children to school. Friendly waitress brings my order of eggs, bacon, grits and toast which I find to be cooked to perfection. As I type this review the locals begin to trickle in, extending morning greetings to everyone, including me even though I am a total stranger. Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina, and to be where I am right now.
