Stopped for breakfast Elkin NC, ordered steak breakfast with 2eggs,biscuit and gravy, bread felt old, steak was without taste, my husband ordered his eggs scrambled, came over easy, ordered orange juice with meal, did not get, waitress had no personality and did not come back to check on us or if everything was OK. Will not go back, food was not good.

Where do i start? 1 star is way too much..if i could give a negative star i would. Most un friendly place i think i have even eaten at. No welcoming there at all, the waitress hardly said a few words period. Several tables were dirty and the hr we were there didnt even get cleaned off. Took forever to get a refill. Our pancakes tasted like something burnt was left on the grill b4 they were fixed. There was a cracked egg on the table beside the stove and one underneith as well. Will not go back!

Came here two days ago while on vacation. Been sick since. I was shocked when there was no soap in the men’s bathroom, not a drop of soap in the dispenser. How do the cooks/employees wash their hands without soap? Wish I saw that before I had eaten. I would of never ate here having seen that. Also, our waitress had time to walk guest out the building and give hugs to those people but didn’t have time to get me a refill. Food was pretty bad but maybe breakfast is just naturally better where I’m from in Northeast.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Our waitress was so rude. Never refilled our drinks. When I tried to make eye contact to get her attention she purposely looked the other way. We tried to be polite and friendly regardless. Food came out wrong and many items missing. Waitress got upset with us and had an attitude when we let her know. We will NEVER go back and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Great place. Waitresses are very nice and friendly. I hate they are no longer past 2pm. I recommend the philly omelet or the garbage plate.
The place has enormous potential. The waitress isn't helping. Not friendly, didn't refill coffee without asking, the bathroom towel to dry hands is jammed doesn't work. The toilet paper is so cheap you can't get it out of the dispenser without having to work at it. Water was left on in the women's bathroom after my grown daughter went in. She said the only weird thing was the waitress was the last in there.

Worst waitress EVER no talk didn't even ask what we wanted to drink then I had to get up and go ask for the drinks AFTER the food was delivered. The breakfast came fast and hot, not to bad at all but need to find wait staff with a better personality. Given the current wait staff that shouldn't be to hard. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

Had to ask one of the cooks to help me with my order, the waitress on Monday morning the 26th waited on a table that came in after me she brought my food without bringing out silverware. One of the cooks the tall one had dirty clothes on which didn't look opropete. Hats off to Austin he's a great associate

I've been to numerous diners throughout the years. Basically as simple as the concept is just bust out acceptable/favorable food. In this case is was good for the most part but my country fried steak was freezer burnt. Upon cashing out I told a gentleman in an apron "hey, you the cook?" County fried steak was burnt, to which I received "oh, okay!" Payed full price for food that wasn't maintained properly, again don't hold it against this people. I didn't make a big deal of it. Yet, I will say any restraunt in a rural area serving breakfast at 10am on a weekend with 4 customers. There is a reason why!
