The tribute to Donna Kaye is abundant and after hearing her story from her daughter, owner Denny, you appreciate the history all the more. The food is fresh, high quality and delicious, and is prepared when ordered. DK'S has become our go to spot for a great pre winery lunch when visiting Elkin/Wine Country.

Most amazing sandwich I had ever had. Got the London Broil Sandwich. Amazingly priced for all of the deliciousness packed into the sandwich. A bustling community and many friendly workers! Not to mention the interior, which is also beautiful. DEFINITELY recommend this place!!!!

Visited downtown Elkin as a pit stop the other day, and delighted to say the place is a hit! I ordered the Buckin’ Elk along with some chips and a soda. The food was not only amazing, but very generous with the meat, cheese, etc. They also have a variety of desserts, salads, and snacks. This would definitely be my go-to lunch spot if I was located in the area. The atmosphere is very lively and the place is filled with pictures and paintings that tell so many stories, giving it a very welcoming vibe.
