Simply Thai and Sushi

Food is delicious! We had garlic chicken stir fry with rice, spicy drunken noodles and avocado sushi. Noodles tasted good but not that spicy in my opinion. There were flies, which was annoying. Both main dishes that we ordered costs $21 each, which I think are unreasonably pricey. Otherwise, I’d give 5 stars.

We went to Simply Thai at lunchtime on Friday. We had picked what to eat using their Lunch Special menu online. When we asked for the menu, we were told they did not have a lunch special. The server was very hostile and insinuated that we were lying. The prices were outrageous for lunch and we left and will not return.

Very disappointed in the quality of the sushi for what I had to pay. Can most definitely get better quality for that kind of money. I can take you to better places than this for the same price maybe cheaper

Edit: Knocking this down to 4 stars. The sushi and many of the other dishes are great, but the entrées essentially involve a few random pieces of meat and a lot of rice or noodles for $20+. I could make this at home for 1/10 the cost. Original review (still mainly valid): Elon mainstay, as they should be. Complex, flavorful dishes, and a responsive staff good at explaining the menu’s nuances.

This used to be one of my favorite places but the disappointment was high today. They stopped serving salad with a meal and I love their peanut dressing and was looking forward to that with my meal. The yellow curry was very different than in the past- it used to be creamy, sweet and spicy, today it was runny and spicy and the onions and carrots overpowered the meal. It will be a long time before I come back.

Very disappointed in what I recieved for what I paid for. For one I've never recieved such runny yellow curry in my life. I wish i could've got a refund. I literally just threw it away. They gave me no rice and just gave me a soup they called curry. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have some coworkers who also got the pad thai and they said it was terrible. If you want thai do not come here. Stay way.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. The drunken noodles are my go to. Love that you can customize the spice level on any dish.
