First of all service was great. the waiter really great, nice, and checked on us to do things. The food also came out pretty quickly. The food quality was ok. Some of the sushi and lettuce wraps were bland. The sampler was a lot of different fried things which some things were good like the spring rolls but the rest felt fried for no reason(tofu, shrimp, ect.) Curry was decent but nothing special. I had a beef dish which was also just ok. The environment was interesting but very dirty. We sat in a booth and there were pencil marks and stains on the wall. On the side of the tablecloth there was also a yellow, orange stain(curry?). There was even a bug in my sister's water when it came out. Food 3/5 Service 5/5. Ambiance 3/5

I never have good service at this restaurant but I really like their sushi! I'm a stay at home mom so I took my kids out for lunch today. This restaurant is not kid friendly and not stroller/wheelchair accessible. I didn't see a ramp near the restaurant. Our waitress was not friendly. She didn't smile and showed no interest in serving us. My kid's had the chicken fried rice and I had the Samurai roll. The rice was good but my roll wasn't very good. My sushi is always better than it was today. I'm very disappointed with my experience.

Great food and atmosphere. If the college is on vacation it is even better since it won't be as crowded and wait times are less. The service is focused and informative about the menu and the sushi. I had a elon smack roll and a Hawaiian tropic roll and it was the absolute best I had ever had around here. It was flavorful and very nice looking. Sushi is a little pricey but good. We also tried a few of the appetizers like lettuce wraps and fried dumplings. Over all a good place. Keys to point out. We went when the fat frog next door was having an event. We ended up in the gravel overflow parking. Started raining while we were eating and it was messy getting to our vehicle. I still say give it a try. They also have a great takeout options as well.

2-18-24 Lunch at Simply Thai I ordered my lunch and had to ask for chop sticks twice. My server gave me some push back when I asked for broccoli to be added to my dish. She said it comes with enough vegetables! When my meal came the broccoli was stone cold! I paid extra for. My lunch was $20 dollars! I'm just posting as lunches out are now expensive. Don't waste your money or time going here!! I will not go back!

What was once the best Thai restaurant this side of Raleigh has now become an average, uninspired Thai restaurant. They cut the menu and my all time favorite Larb salad is gone. Money bags were soggy and tasted like scallions and soupy cream cheese. The Mai tai tasted like cough syrup. It was really a shell of what use to be. We will not be going out of our way to visit. There are too many Thai places that are equal to or better. Sigh.

OMG !!! The shrimp fried rice, pepper steak, lettuce wraps, and spring rolls were delicious! The staff were very friendly, and professional , and very efficient service.

I can't say one bad thing about Simply Thai! They were fantastic. The red curry with steak and the curry fried rice with steak were amazing. The sushi rolls were great. Our server was attentive and polite and very helpful for our first time trying Thai. My mimosa was perfectly bubbly. Everything was perfect from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. The decor was beautiful and everything was very crisp and clean. Even after a tip (which I'm never stingy on) we still got out for just under $100. That's a win in my book with the current economy. We'll definitely go again. Next time I'm going to try the yellow curry.

Food quality is very good. This was 2nd time here. The first time, they hit it out of the park for me and exceeded my expectations. The 2nd time, I didn't enjoy my meal - the meal was well prepared, I just didn't like it. My server did ask if everything was good, but I did not want to return anything. I'll definitely eat here again, I just won't order this menu item again (Pineapple fried rice)
